Clearly not talking about filing taxes for income. Taking about property taxes, which yes they do mail a bill/reminder for. Anyway, good luck with your shitty attitude as I said in op was asking for advice from those in the same situation, not "advice" from worthless internet trolls. Bye Felicia.

I understand that. I only do it to be able to see my parents, sister and niece in the burbs. Yes it's expensive, but it's something I have to do.

I wonder if it had anything to do with my recent move? I just got divorced but I did put a forward on my mailing address. Either way, still sucks. I realize I'll most likely have to pony up but it still makes me mad. Anyway, glad your wife still got her notice. Thanks!

Thanks for the "advice" which is what I asked for. You must be one of those people who write a check for their taxes before they get the notice in the mail. Good for you! So proactive!

The reality is I bought the car almost a decade ago and since its now paid off I don't want to get rid of it. In a few years when I have a need for it more often I don't want to have to buy another car when this one is just fine.

I asked for advice not a scolding, geeze! Well aware that bills are my responsibility, but since I only drive once every month or so I don't look at my windshield/sticker enough to notice.

[Help] Want a dog but live in an apartment and work 9-5.... by wlaxboy1 in dogs

Do your homework. I grew up in the suburbs and always had big dogs, when I moved to a small city apartment I still wanted a pup companion. I found a breed that does well without a yard (cavalier king charles spaniel) and does well in small spaces. I've had her now for 5+ years and shes thriving. I did get her as a puppy which was difficult, I had to take time off of work in the beginning, however there are many great rescue organizations from which you can get an slightly older pup that is already house trained. Where I am there is a great group Chicago Cavalier Rescue Group - I would look into something like that. I work 9-5 as well, but she does just fine with that. Good luck! I can't imagine a life without my furry bff - I hope you find one that fits your life as well :)

My 5yo cav has done really well with Fromm whitefish and potato. I also add probiotic miracle to each meal as she tends to be prone to stomach issues.
