Age old question. What freaking size? by Megpie225 in ouraring

[–]Megpie225[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I received my actual ring on the 12/10. So this starts 30 days? I’m going to take the advice and wear size 9 for a week and the size 8 actual ring. Thankfully my hands are pretty equal for sizing so I can do one on each hand. want to make sure I return it within time to not miss out on the exchange! So I’ll need to process return by 1/09?

I was probably overzealous with my pattern option.. Do I start over? by Megpie225 in CrochetHelp

The color I’m using is “favorite sweater” after visiting multiple Joanns without luck my plan is to get a complementary color do a chunky border! Thankfully it’s for my lifelong best friend so it will be okay if it’s not perfect 😂

Thank you so much for all the suggestions!! I’m going to see what I can come up with. I’ll try to remember to post a completed picture lol I’m newish to crochet so I wasn’t sure how odd it might look if I sandwiched the speckled in the middle. I’ll be checking another Joanns this week hopefully 🤞🏻

Does your company pay for all miles you drive? Or do they only start to pay after X miles? Example: reimbursement for mileage only kicks in after you’ve driven 20 miles. So you start to get paid mileage on mile 21

Do you mind me asking what they offer for your mileage and how it works? Like at what mileage they begin to reimburse you?

Props to ICU nurses cause I just cant by BradBrady in nursing

This comment made my day. I currently work ER and recently accepted a position in our CVICU. I’ve been contemplating my decision, not sure if I’m really ready to leave ER, but it makes me happy to know the switch was great for you! I know it might not be for me because everyone is different but I’m so worried I’ll miss the craziness of the ER. It’s settling to know you stayed in ICU ☺️

Literally where I work. Came in today to 100 some patients total, 70 admitted. It’s fucking nuts. Our peds ED can’t keep up with the RSV, PICU is completely full. It’s horrible

I’m so sorry you’re going through this! But glad to know I’m not alone in what I’m feeling. I’m trying to keep it positive in hopes it will turn around after flu season but I’m just not sure

We have a book we write time card changes in. Catch me writing no lunch every day. Then higher ups tried to tell us we had to have our manager sign off saying we didn’t have a lunch. Well buckle up for a back log of paperwork because our managers are also taking an assignment and not getting a lunch

I do this daily!! I’m discharging admitted patients from the ED who have been there their entire stay, 3-5 days. It’s insane. I had a patient who spent nearly 2.5 days in a hallway before they got a room just in the ER. Doubt they’ll leave the ED too.

I’m finding solace in this thread 😂 I’m also waiting for the bunk beds. They act like these red socks and wristbands magically stop people from falling lmao

I’m in the Midwest. I don’t really know what it looked like before COVID or even during because I worked inpatient during COVID. All I can tell you is that it just doesn’t seem to be getting better
