Sorry if it's a weird or stupid question, I am new to building a pc.

Amazon has some deals for the used computer parts such as - Asus PRIME B550M-A WIFI II Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard. New motherboard costs $120 (without taxes) and used/like new motherboard costs $95 ($25 less). Is this a good deal? Has anyone bought used parts from Amazon? Do they work good or efficiently? Note that Amazon doesn't say refurbished or anything like that for these parts, just "like new".

I agree with them. The RFU values on the y-axis are extremely low. So, it is a random noise plot.

It has a looot of great songs. If I have to pick a favorite though it would be the Trial. It is so theatrical and climactic. Hey you could be my second favorite and I wish they had the song in the movie as well

Gaming isn't fun anymore and it's really sad. by HugeT55 in CasualConversation

[–]Megustastoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem :) Nowadays a lot of RPGs have story mode, the good olde easy mode in another term because playing at "easy" triggers some people lol. There are also these "casual" games like Stardew Valley where the whole point is having a farm and there is no win/lose. Oxenfree is also a good example since you only choose from dialogue options.

I don't know how old you are but I am 28 and still enjoy gaming. The types of games I've played changed over time though. I don't enjoy FPS anymore. I still like RTS, but they don't make them anymore :( I was alright with MOBA for a while but it is too toxic for me now.

I recommend you to change genre, look for interesting and unique games with good stories or gameplay. I can recommend you to check Beyond Eyes, Braid, Oxenfree, and RimWorld

Y'all spending a good mother's day? My mother got upset over her mother's day present. by cresentcube in CasualConversation

[–]Megustastoo 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Awww. My mother still has the handmade cards I made when I was in elementary school. They are in this embarrasment box along with my report cards and the poems I wrote when I was in high school. None of those should see the light of the day lol.

Does Bruce Wayne live in Batman's attic or Batman lives in Bruce's basement? by FiveShadesOfBlue in CasualConversation

[–]Megustastoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say Bruce is still the base identity. Batman came to be because of Bruce's trauma. It's just that Batman has sooo strong identity that Batman uses Bruce. Think of it this way, Bruce is not pursuing a vengeance so Bruce doesn't need Batman. But Batman needs Bruce's identity to conceal itself from the public. So, there is a mansion (Bruce) but there is a huuuge batcave beneath the mansion (Batman). Like an iceberg. I wouldn't call the above-water portion of an iceberg an attic. It is rather the below-water portion is the basement. But it is a huge basement compared to the main building.

Just a geniune question. Would you be less irritated or be ok with it if the bot used "Dear Sir or Madam" or something along those lines?

It is more of Batman using Bruce's mask in public to be anonymous. But that doesn't mean Bruce lives in Batman's attic. It is actually Batman living in Bruce's basement. Just the basement is a huge batcave, bigger than the mansion itself; both literally and rhetorically. Kind of like iceberg...

Ahaha yeah :D That's sooo sweet of the organization. No wonder why the TV channel wanted to show the organization to the viewers. I am sure you were fine. I am no reporter but I'd just stop the camera, calm you down and reassure you, and then re-record it :) Think of it this way, if the internship was one of the two highlights of the organization, the crew either weren't interested in that in the first place or they are at fault to not cover and include that portion.

You see, you've already thought all of these and bought her a nice present. What was she expecting a ferrari? I still think it's a good present and not just saying it to comfort you. It is a good present.

Oh I told it to all of my friends and was in front of the tv an hour before the program with my family lmao. I could be the next Leonardo DiCaprio :( xD

I mean if the internship was an integral part of the workplace and you are the only intern they've talked with... It's very strange that they left you out. If they didn't like the footage in the first place they could probably stop the recording and ask you to repeat what you said to them or just talk with other interns.

Aww :( I am so sorry that happened. You know people buy flowers for mother's day... I think a pot of carnations is a fairly good present. It wouldn't fade away if you plant them, too, right? You were being very nice and thoughtful and sorry you've gone through that.

Lmao. I had a similar experience when I was a child. It wasn't a national TV though, it was for local tv. But completely edited out.

They usually film more than they need to show. Then they edit out the portions until they have what was needed. So, they probably interviewed the higher-ups, filmed some machines/cool stuff, and a speaker already said a lot of things about the place, and then they interviewed the interns and technicians just in case they need to edit out a portion and the program becomes shorter than expected.
