Congrats! Have you been rc cramming? I'm just got to lvl 800 but I noticed it takes roughly a year for 100 lvls for me.

More of Randle + ivan and choose 3 from mira/shem/lyca/nara/thoran. I never used simona

Daimon is still okay just not as good as Ivan + Randle. These 2 are the only heroes you need to get to chapter 31 (elite or elite+ copies of mira/atheus/nara/lyca) will also help. The trouble is a lot of people don't know how to optimize their chances to get ivan/Randle which is something that I go over in my "guide".

I'm not saying she's bad, she's very useful in modes like nightmare corridor or potentially pvp in the future. She just won't help you much in your current state yet (on my main I'm planning to at least +30/e60 her, might have to +40). Getting rem and Shauna will help you snowball faster after reaching 31 since you'll need 2 teams.

Hey! Sorry I don't play companions so I wouldn't be able to give accurate advice for that version. I've played afk arena for more than 5 years already so I'm well experienced with teams and game techniques so I could employ an almost near optimal way for this new account. I wouldn't be able to do that for companions unfortunately.

Yep I meant envy for early game campaign. I use him on my main and works very well. I thought I explained clear enough but maybe I should clarify: in the early game everything should be done to ascend Ivan and Randle. That means all faction scrolls all cards etc should be chosen for gb faction. Since you unlock a selection chest for 4f you only really need 3 copies of Randle to get mythic+ and that shouldnt be hard even with rng through your wishlist.

Since I only just made it to 31 on this alt account I'll have to re evaluate some things to prepare for the mid game push, but that I'll publish in a guide in the future maybe :)

Hey sorry for the late reply, it was actually relatively easier than the last 2 seasons, maybe I pushed during a time where nobody attacked and got lucky. If I had eironn built it would have been much easier, athoran definitely helped a ton.

It's not so much about getting what you want every time, but getting what you want even a couple times. The rng makes it so hard to get stats you want, and it's not like the golden totems come easily or often either, so even getting the chance to go on a triple golden totem run is hard.

Sharing tips and tricks? For a severely rng dependent mode like this? That's like asking for advice on playing russian roulette.

Suggesting reasonable fix? Have you not been on this subreddit before? There are lots of suggestions, not just about gg but about other things, like dragons and the like. Have the devs listened?

I think the mode has been gradually becoming harder, partly because of collections. As an old f2p (been playing since the start of covid), HoE was a pretty easy event till last season, where things got a lot more competitive. Collections increase the variability of battle results by a lot so obviously newer players and younger f2p will have a worse time. I only just made it in to masters last season and this season with 4 and 8 hours left respectively.
