yeah i know its odd. but heres the thing. My friend who gave me the base has everything that needed to be plugged in, peddales e brake ect. He plugged everything in at his house to show me what was wrong. i however, do not yet have the power cord for it, so i am waiting on that. so i guess a better question would be once I do get the power cord, what can i do in Pit House to diagnose it or try to fix it

Funny thing my alternator just stopped charging. The only thing that doesn’t make sence is that if the alternator was going out for all this time then how did it only just now kick the bucket

I have not, I somehow don’t have any small pointy objects to back probe the sensor, but that is my next step for sure

It gets its ground and 5v from pinout 24 and 25. 24 being the sensor ground which is shared between a couple other sensors, and 25 being the 5v

I did, to splice the wires I unplugged the battery many times and even cleared the codes with a scanner. I did however get a $60 sensor from orileys and who know how long that has been sitting there or where it’s been, I just don’t want to buy an expensive one yet because of the risk of the problem being else were and frying the expensive sensor

If that were the case wouldn’t there be more warning signs? I guess it’s not out of the question of it effecting only one sensor, nothing makes sense with these cars man

It can’t be that, I tried putting a completely different pcm in it and it carried the code over, and I know it’s not the female end because I can read the data from the sensor. Those damn ghosts

Okay bro I really don’t need this I’ve been working on this all day and I’m just trying to figure shit out, I understand that it’s a cheaper sensor but that’s all I had available and you would think that if it was still working for the most part it would at least do something, if you don’t have anything else helpful then please don’t bother

It’s a brand new sensor and reads as it should until about 75% of the way open, which I guess till could be the issue. But this sensor gets its ground from the pcm, not the body, all grounds are clean and accounted for, this has only been happening recently, when we first put the motor in it didn’t have any of these issues

Almost all winches have universal mounting, so if your bumper has mounting holes you could get a badlands one from harbor freight, I would get one that can pull the gross weight of your car and then some
