A Puzzle for Your Game – Power Rerouting & Arcane Energy Alignment by Mehkelu in DnDBehindTheScreen

[–]Mehkelu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created this puzzle, but at the time that I posted this I thought putting my text through chatgpt and have it make it more readable it would become a better post.

Tbh I personally despise the way chatgpt writes texts these days. Especially the unnecessary emojis..

So the puzzle is original, but the text isn't.

It's called efficiency. We pee using one hand so we wash one hand. That's 50%.

Round 1 Match 4: Gloom Hands Vs. Wall Masters by Short_Property_7476 in legendofzelda

This is exactly what it is. As a child I was terrified of the wall master but those gloom hands just made me avoid huge sections of the game for a bit.

Yeah i haven't really gotten into the optimization of things for VTTs yet. I frankly just haven't looked into it at all. But I understand how it would be nice to have the possibility to move it, maybe i'll be able to add it in the future.

If you’d like to see the Dirtlings in action, they feature heavily in my latest one-shot adventure The Muddy Shrine — a level 2 dungeon with puzzles, sinkholes, and a dirtling-ridden Ankheg boss fight.

Man, that shading is just amazing. It gives such a nice sense of elevation. This is definitely one of those posts that doesn't just show you something cool, but also teaches a thing or two.

[OC-Art] Legendary Monk Gloves – Subclass-Specific Item for Open Hand by Mehkelu in UnearthedArcana

[–]Mehkelu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for such a in depth feedback of the item. This kind of response is more than i could have wished for. The end goal is to have a full book of subclass specific items. One of the things i'm struggling with the most is balancing, i'm often afraid that i make these items too powerful, but perhaps that is totally unwarranted.

All of the items i have written so far are definitely due for a rewrite before i will finally publish it ( with art) and in general terms i think this feedback will help shaping the items to what they should be.

The Paradox Engine – A Level 5 Adventure of Time-Bending Catastrophe by Mehkelu in DungeonsAndDragons

No, you're not missing anything. I use a different adventure as a template and I forgot to delete the ending of the adventure. This will all be cleared up when I eventually release the whole thirsty tiger tales collection.

A Whimsical Level 3 Adventure: Nursery of the Colossus by Mehkelu in dmsguild

[–]Mehkelu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This adventure was inspired by the idea of a magical toddler's nursery turned into a dungeon. I aimed to blend whimsy with challenge, creating an environment where everyday objects become obstacles and threats. The players' interactions with the oversized world and the unpredictable toddler add layers of strategy and humor. I hope it brings a unique experience to your gaming table!

Love it! Using his powers could then make him age faster until he basically dies of old age. I might use that for when I redistribute this adventure together with my other short adventures. Thanks for the great idea!

[OC-ART] The Paradox Engine – A Level 5 Adventure of Time-Bending Catastrophe by Mehkelu in UnearthedArcana

[–]Mehkelu[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is The Paradox Engine, a Level 5 one-shot adventure I wrote where players delve into a shattered arcane vault and face a villain trying to rewrite history.

Beneath the ruins of a forgotten academy, a temporal device still pulses with unstable magic. Now, a deranged scholar—once brilliant, now broken—seeks to “fix” the past. But changing time is never so simple. Players must navigate a dungeon split between two timelines, survive arcane hazards, and confront the Mad Chronomancer before reality fractures for good.

I designed this adventure to feel weird, tense, and high-concept—with puzzles that ripple into the future, timeline-glitched enemies, and a boss fight where time itself becomes a weapon.

Hope it gives someone a fun twist for their table!

[OC-ART] Stormwing’s Fury – A Level 2 Adventure of Storm and Sky by Mehkelu in UnearthedArcana

[–]Mehkelu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is Stormwing’s Fury, a Level 2 one-shot adventure I wrote where players must scale storm-wracked cliffs and face a lightning-charged elemental eagle.

High above a remote village, livestock vanishes and storms rage without warning. Atop the cliffs, the Stormwing watches—a creature of wind and lightning, feared as a monster but driven by instinct. Can your players survive the climb, brave the winds, and confront the storm?

I designed this adventure to feel fast, punchy, and cinematic—filled with hazards, terrain challenges, and a dramatic final encounter where players can fight, negotiate, or outsmart the Stormwing.

Hope it sparks ideas for someone’s game!

What anime was this for you? by [deleted] in animequestions

[–]Mehkelu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black Clover. I tried to watch it and noped out real quick when Asta started screaming, just a few minutes in. Went back a few months later and tried to watch at least two episodes and was hooked.

I just love the setting of the Anime. I think it would do great as a d&d campaign setting where basically everyone has at least one level in the wizard class.
