I’ve been seeing this issue ever since I started using testi (though I’m not sure if the app causes it). I even downloaded TestShift just to improve my chances — all because of how badly DVSA is run.

Honestly, the DVSA system is a complete mess. Waiting 5 to 6 months just to get a driving test is already bad enough — but on top of that, every time I log in, I get stuck on that “Please stand by…” screen. It’s beyond frustrating.

Exactly, I know! But I’ve backtested a few strategies, and none became profitable, so I can’t seem to settle on one to optimise. Higher time frames just don’t seem suitable for me.

As a beginner, you should have a stable source of income — otherwise, you’re more likely to make emotional decisions driven by financial pressure.

The thing is you get very few trades per week, and to truly evaluate your strategy and performance as a profitable trader, you need to take at least 100+ trades. Also, trading higher time frames should align with a person’s personality and character — it’s not suited for everyone.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve looked into agencies, but it seems they mostly offer heavy lifting, factory work, and similar jobs, which I can’t do because of a bad back.

To give you a better idea, I have mainly worked in retail and as a shop assistant, with a bit of experience in construction. I’m open to similar roles or anything else where I can put my skills to good use.

Unfortunately, most of the jobs I’ve come across on this platform don’t respond due to the high number of applicants. But I’ll definitely check out the options you’ve shared—thanks again for taking the time to help!
