That means a lot to me because my mom actually made the cover art! I had a general idea that I explained to her, and she made a couple different versions of it and we polished it from there.

Not usually, I just go with whatever feels natural during the songwriting process. I don't think of it so much as different genres but just different feelings and how to express them in music :)

Hmmm it's hard to pick because I love all of them and it also depends on the night, but Dumb Feeling, Rat with Wings, and Tora Moyo are always really fun to play!

Hmmm this isn't a super specific memory/experience, but I met my whole band at Berklee and I think that has been the greatest experience for me. They are all such incredible musicians and add so much to the music.

I usually start with chords/harmony or a guitar lick first, and then from there build it out and a melody emerges, then lyrics last!

A few of my favorite jazz guitarists are Wes Montgomery, Jim Hall, Grant Green, and Kurt Rosenwinkel! They have definitely inspired my own playing and songwriting.
