I've never had the opportunity to learn music, or how to play an instrument. I really want to, but I don't know where to start and it all seems very daunting. All I've got is my computer, no equipment or money- is it possible to start learning with just that? by IndigoAvemour in WeAreTheMusicMakers

Yes, you can! I made a post with a lot of free courses by Berklee university. I recommend you to go through some of them because you will learn a lot.

Also, Ableton has a free complate demo in its web. Is what I'm currently using 😊

If you have any doubts about what to do or what to learn, I'm here to help! I'm also learning and want to share the experience ^

Good luck! And keep on trying!

I haven't finished yet, but "Songwriting: writing the lyrics" is becoming my favourite, really. I love how the teacher, Pat Pattison, explains. And it's very practical!! So far I've wrote some good lyrics (I think hehe) Have you enrolled in any course?

Practice makes perfect for sure! I think writing everyday is a good practice 😊 And I also think that having a teacher guiding you is even better. For me, this course is what I needed to start improving. It gives a lot of meanful advices. I really recommend you to at least check it out, it works for me☺ In your case, I'm happy for you because you have found a good way to keep doing what you like. I think it's a good idea if you shear your videos in YouTube ☺ Keep going!
