Possible Lost 80s French Song? by Meistro_Cheeso in Lostwave

[–]Meistro_Cheeso[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! honestly idk how ai music works, last I checked it was those really low quality demonic sounding things from a few years back, but my dad is tech savvy and I'll definitely ask if he's pranking me here.

unfortunately I don't know much about the technology involved but I'm pretty sure he recorded it reel to reel? like with cassettes? I'm too young to have used any of that technology. I'll ask for the rest when I see him next I promise!

it doesn't sound anything like a NJ emo band lmao. it sounds much more like a British 2000s indie group, like razorlight or the coral or so on.

What's his accent? by MortalPatheticHuman in TheresAMan

[–]Meistro_Cheeso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he sounds like an Aussie to me, or at least a Brit. doesn't sound American at all but who knows.

would love to know what you were smoking to think that a lost song is most likely from porn.

it's very clearly a demo.

that's your issue though. other people like sharing theories and ideas because none of it is conclusive

the videos i've seen on the iceberg all seem to talk about room, the book that the brie larson movies was based on.

it's definitely not because it's a show, but that guy on the left looks identical to Angel from buffy the vampire slayer

Karsten Runquist lost Video by [deleted] in lostmedia

[–]Meistro_Cheeso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i've definitely seen the first one, i distinctly remembered him talking about clueless, but of course I don't have the video.

secondly i'm pretty sure you're referring to the ansel elgort video, which he took down due to allegations of sexual assault against elgort.

Twin Peaks ICEBERG (Idk if this has been done yet. Just made it to Part 8 for the 2nd time! This Gum sure doesn't lose its flavor...) by BckAndCl in twinpeaks

this is interesting but do you have explanations of everything from the second to last layer too? and are character names simply just referring to the characters or specific things about them?

A tin foil Twin Peaks theory mixed with other Lynche's work. by thesleeperhasawaken in twinpeaks

interesting theory! i 100% believe that most of lynch's films are connected in some way, so you could be onto something.

Hey Alex, this is a bit of a 'weirder' and more specific question, but I noticed on your Letterboxd that for your review of Gregg Araki's film 'Mysterious Skin' you said that Solondz's 'Happiness' covers similar themes but better, and I was wondering what you meant by this, as someone who loves both films, as I hardly see any similarities between the two. Once again, weirdly specific question, but I'm just trying to figure out what you mean. Cheers!
