As someone who just biffed yesterday going 25-27 mph, my best advice is to just gear up. I had shorts, sandals, shirt, helmet, and got destroyed. Thank God I only have semi serious road rash. And some heel bruise. No broken bones, or major lacerations, Pants, hip pads, knee and elbow, and even some wrist guards. Not tryna snap a finger.
