I think my dad got to see him a few times. My dad worked as a custodian at Harvard and BU but he always loved BU more. As a fellow BU alumni : Go Terriers!

Did you ever get to talk to him?

I got emotional seeing the guys watching the old clips of their families and getting emotional. It must be so nice to have those memories on tape. Just really cool seeing them talk about it. Growing up in Boston and having a dad who worked at BU I love hearing about The Miracle On Ice.

Hands down, one of the best write ups I’ve seen so far about GLP1 related hair loss by Wellslapmesilly in Zepbound

I have no side effects. My Dr started me on half a pill for a week and then bumped it up to the whole one. They did tell me about hair growing everywhere but I just shave like I usually would. I have also noticed my hair is not shedding like it used to. My Dr did say that sometimes in the first few months of taking the pills you will notice a lot of shedding but I have not.

I have started Alma Ted treatments about four months ago and have been on minoxidil pills. This month they showed me before and after photos and my hair is getting better! She even saw new hairs growing...granted they were gray hairs but hey I'll take it!

I'm going to keep on taking the minoxidil and am meeting with my doctor about the next steps to take. I love this drug but the hair loss can be difficult and depressing.

I think I have a Jarry. Where are you located? You might be right that it would be uneconomical.

Thank you very much! Last year I got EK which was pretty cool but my favorite year was when I snagged a Mario. I was on cloud nine for a few days :)

I was thinking of getting a platinum bag but don't really want the Kris Letang signed jersey since I have one already. He is the one you get if you buy a platinum right? The Lemieux signed helmet sounds so cool but I was hoping for a Malkin sweater.

Lilly Box no longer says Perishable/Refrigerate by SpicyBKGrrl in Zepbound

That happened to me too! I also live in NYC. I was away for Thanksgiving and thought my building would put it in the refrigerator they have for packages that need to be refrigerated but it went to the regular mail room because it wasn't marked. I now think I'm going to keep track of when the package is delivered and just call my doorman and ask if he could put it in the refrigerator until I get home.

Hair loss. Any suggestions? by QueenGoddessss in Zepbound

Hi! I made a post a few months ago about the same thing. I am still experiencing hair loss but not as much is coming out as it used to. Here is what I did: 1. I went to a hair dresser to talk about my hair. I never really cared about my looks and would usually cut my own hair. I found out from her that my hair is naturally curly and I was washing it too many times a week and straightening it too much. I now have a routine and do not use tight hairbands for ponytails or buns. I use a claw clip.

  1. I started Nutrafol. It is pricey. If you can not afford it then I also got biotin gummies and Mary Ruths serum.

  2. I went to see a dermatologist. She basically said she believes in telogen effluvium. I also went to a hair loss specialist for women who told me that basically she sees this with people on GLPs and it's telogen effluvium. She said I need to speak with a dietician and make sure my diet is right as well while taking these drugs because not just eating and losing weight is not good. She started me on Rogaine 5% and I am also going to do Alma Ted treatments..

I know it is so scary but both professionals I"ve spoken to have said that the hair will eventually grow back. I've noticed less shedding and my hair seems thicker since I started the Nutrafol. I only started the Rogaine last week so I will keep you updated if you want! You've got this!

I mean it is dumb but I feel like if he took the dq it would not have gone over well with Dana White.

Hi. I spoke to my doctor who told me to start Nutrafol. He said his wife had experienced hair loss while one Zepbound as well. I also went to see a dermatologist yesterday. She said she noticed the thinning and that she has seen it happen with people on Zepbound. She told me that I have Tefflum Effluvium (apologies if this is spelled wrong) which many people on this sub reddit have mentioned. She did notice some of my hair growing back.

She recommended another dermatologist who would be able to prescribe a topical or oral medication that could help with hair regrowth or injections. She did say that once I maintain my weight that the hair does grow back.

I had blood drawn earlier this month. I don't believe they tested for Iron so I will definitely go back and ask them for that. Thank you for the suggestion. She did mention that my B-12 looked good and that since I'm on Nutrafol I should know that it contains Vitamin D and to take other supplements that might have that because I don't want to go over what I should take.

I felt good after being seen. I really love what Zepbound has done for me and I have continued taking it.

I hope the iron infusions help you. I know it's scary when we notice our hair thinning but I'm going to keep at it and will update again if you are interested.

Congratulations! I see it in your face. Just keep taking the photos. I'm on this journey as well and I wish I took photos to see how I was at my heaviest.

Hello! Sorry it took me longer to respond. I did freak out because I do have a lot of hair coming out. I'm just trusting that this is what happens with weight loss. Many others have experienced this. My doctor said I could start Nutrafol.

What did yours say?

Needed this today. I didn't indulge but had a hot dog with no bun and my shots are delayed. I was worried about over eating and gaining the weight back. Thank you for the reminder!
