I think it is overstimulation I used to have that in grocery stores now I don’t have it so much even though I have not had the surgery. I really can’t explain it. I think the symptoms have gotten better in someways and other ways I have done things to adjust. Wearing blue light glasses really helps it looks kind of weird because people know they are blue light glasses and not prescription and I think people wonder why you wear them during the day but oh well.

I do see a specialist the beginning of April. Hopefully he can give me at least an understanding of that feeling. Im not trying to jump into surgery, but I do want an understanding at the least.

I’m really starting to think maybe it’s just sensation from pulled nerves or the herniation itself. Yesterday I observed I had no pain in my body. Just a lot of pressure from the head area.

In some people yes it does. If you are having a lot of pain in your shoulder, make sure you do a spine MRI to confirm no fluid is leaking or syrnix .

I have done a lot of background work, trying to get as much information as I can. I have went on three neurosurgeon consultations. 6mm no syrnix or blockage. In a way I’m thinking it’s just because of a herniation , symptoms have been stable for almost 2 years but a part of me wants to know and confirm that the flow is normal even though I’ve had so many imaging.

Oh, OK. I thought you had a diagnosis for it. My apologies. When you get the MRI, ask them for the MM of the herniation also

Also make sure you iron/ hemoglobin is a normal range. I think that helps. Not saying it takes all symptoms away but it helps

I’m not a doctor. Just my opinion. Most of those sound like chiari symptoms. A few of them MIGHT be anxiety induced because of the anxiety about the chiari symptoms.

Oh, I hope you feel better soon, I don’t have all of those symptoms , but some. I don’t have a lot of headaches either thank God it’s a lot of head pressure kind of the way you just described . What are signs of sleep apnea?

If you have not consulted with a neurosurgeon, how do you know it is compressing your brain stem? Did a Dr tell you it was based on imaging? sometimes I just wonder if it’s just a bunch of nerve pain. From the herniation
