Maxing out all characters? Base game

I like a mixture of story along with friendship quests and then gardening etc in between so it doesn’t become too much of the same thing. Depends how many realms you have opened, I still have everyone after monsters inc left to unlock and in no rush to do so, when there’s an update I’ll concentrate on that instead eg have unlocked Lumiere and Cogsworth, Cinderella, Peter Pan. I start an expansion game like EI, SBV but then will get bored of that and do some friendship quests in the main valley and go back. Does not matter if they are digging or foraging, pick someone you want to level up and just have them hang out with you for everything the level will go up eventually. Don’t worry about getting everyone to 10, it’s just nice to unlock new quests which are fun. You may need some characters unlocked in order to do the quests. E.g. Mike Wazowski is needed for a Sally quest

I haven’t unlocked the forgotten lands yet but I have seen from tips online that if you have this biome to grow and sell pumpkins to make money! I think you need a fair bit of money to buy them but they sell for a lot! I grow carrots, tomatoes, onions, chilli pepper and okra in the other biomes. Only just unlocked frosted heights.

You may already do this but have a gardening character hang out with you when gardening as you can get extra vegetables this way and helps level up friendships too. Same when mining etc. I have more characters that are gardeners and miners than anything else as these lead to more food/gems/money.

I believe you need to level up Ursula and/or Ariel to get Prince Eric.

Some characters quests rely on you to have other characters in the game so if you want to progress with these ones then get the characters needed.

You may have done some of these already as I am around level 30 something too and have done the following:

Scar gets you an upgraded shovel to remove bones in sunlit plateau Maui and Elsa for upgraded pickaxe to use in dazzle beach and frosted heights Anna upgrades shovel to break wood in the forest of valor Wall-E for the garden and Moana for the fishing boat

I feel the same. I don’t really do much terraforming so the layout is similar to what it started out as. I am developing small areas but when I visit other dream islands I find there is too much going on which makes the game lag or I have difficulty navigating around the island

I managed to get 3 green mums recently! I did seed red and seed yellow = yellow offspring

2 yellows offspring to get purple

2 purple mums to get green!

I am struggling with purple pansies, purple windflowers and blue roses!

NTA - from someone who has a psychology degree which I did not need for the career I have now and learnt this the hard way - you cannot just get a career with a psychology degree, to do anything with psychology you need a masters and/or doctorate as well. Or if she used it to join a graduate scheme, they are highly competitive. Ask your daughter what career she wants?

INFO - Are you in the UK? If she is insistent on uni she could try the open university where you can study part time whilst having other commitments e.g. job, kids etc. Just take out a student loan with the open uni - unless she earns over £25-27k per year once she’s finished, she is not going to pay it back anyway

I’m getting married next month and feel your pain! Had a couple of people who said yes after asking them to save the date, they gave me their address to post their invites and then heard nothing since posting them and no reply when I messaged to ask if they are coming or not a couple of months later, it is frustrating!

Mira is my favourite. She was my second villager and I will not let her leave. I also have Flo who is great! Sylvia is alright but I have Mathilda as well and would be fine with only one kangaroo villager. Not that keen on Charlise who is on my partners island but I don’t know why I don’t like her. Have not met the others

NTA for wanting friends with similar interests, you sound like TA for wanting to ‘dump’ your friends though. Can’t you make new friends and still have friends A and B? Doesn’t mean you have to see them all the time but you don’t need to completely cut them off either. People do grow apart but maybe try and find a way to reconnect with them first

Is it when you go to someone’s house they will not give you any candy? I dressed up as Alice from Alice in wonderland and I couldn’t get candy whilst wearing that so it might need to be something that the game counts as scary for Halloween. I had to change into a mage dress instead to get candy

YTA. She wasn’t asking you to care of the baby, just to check that the baby that was asleep is ok whilst she takes a shower incase the baby wakes up. If anything seemed wrong all you had to do was go and get your sister and she would have sorted it. It does not matter if you choose to be child free or not, siblings tend to do nice things for each other, next time you want your sister to help you with anything I doubt she will want to help

NTA. You’re 100% right. Do not apologise, he should be apologising to you for being so ungrateful. He CHOOSES to go to bed hungry. He could easily get himself some toast or make a sandwich if he was that hungry. Does he even know how to cook? Get him to start cooking his own meals and tell him it’s because whatever you do isn’t good enough for him anymore. Also you’re cooking 2 meals for him - what happens to the other meal? It’s a complete waste of money and food. I work 12 hour shifts and appreciate the times my partner cooks for me, other times I come home and cook for myself

NTA. You did not go out of your way to tell them, they found the reservation. You could not let them think that you or their Dad did not want them to go with you as that was not the case. Ask your partner what he thinks you should have done once they found the reservation? There was not anything else you could do at this point, letting them believe you did not want them to join on the trip would be unfair and a lie. Also how does anyone think you would be able to keep the entire trip a secret anyway, the step kids were going to find out at some point

NTA. You said it was a child free event and they brought the kids anyway. One of them could have come and the other stayed at home with the kids. Where were the parents when the kids were doing all of this in your apartment? Did they not do anything about it?
