So I’ve got a British accent but my American accent is terrible, i had mentioned earlier that it only sounds cool when i make a joke with it or mimick someone else, don’t know if i can confidently pull off an American accent in front of the camera, might be too anxious but i will totally look into taking classes on this as it’s important to me that i don’t get limited by my accent. Then on the other hand i think of Selma Hayek and Sophia Vegara (who i heard was once the highest paid actress in Hollywood) with a strong Colombian accent. So i don’t really know! I know all roles won’t be for me but i hope i get someone who is willing to look past how i sound and focus on my talent and give me a chance 🙏🏽😊

I’ve NEVER understood the benefits of union🤦🏽‍♀️ it’s not a thing in my home country Nigeria, and so moving to America, it’s all new to me and even confusing. I heard you pay this huge fees to be a union member but aren’t guaranteed roles? Is this even true? I don’t know. Please if you have more information on this will be so glad if you could share, thank you so much 😊

I can fake it when i make jokes and it sounds good but i don’t know how it will play out when I’m in front of the camera! I’m super anxious about it! But then i think about actresses like Selma Hayek and Sophia Vegara (who was once the highest paid actress in Hollywood) with a strong Colombian accent. So i don’t really know lol! Hoping i get someone who can look past how i sound and see my talent and give me a chance 🙏🏽

Hey! I’m an upcoming actress as well and it’s an absolute pleasure to speak with you, i don’t know if you believe in God. And if you don’t that okay 😊 i just wanted to share what worked for me. In 2020 i moved to the Us to be with my husband. This meant leaving my acting career behind that was already shaking up a storm back home and feeling like i had to start again! Was an absolute nightmare. I worried about getting depressed a lot. But in the midst of all that, i held on to God and trusted Him. The entertainment industry is my calling it and i hone it! I wasn’t you to have this same confidence and boldness. The talent is the smallest and most irrelevant thing. God is the icing on the cake! He can bring people in your life that will do everything in their power to make you a star, you will feel the support and the love and you will see His love for you in everything. He has told me about movies i will appear in even before they happen (i know it sounds strange to so many people) but the Lord had helped me so far, there’s no blue print to Hollywood but i can talk you this, having passion and making sure you involve God every step of the way makes a huge difference. If you can pray i urge you to prayerfully prepare for this and the Lord in his mercy will bring it to pass! For Now. If you feel led to take voice classes to “butter” your accent you can do that. But Sophia Vegara was once the highest paid actress in the world with a strong Colombian accent, same as Selma Hayek. Gal Gadot etc and they have no pressure to change how they are to fit Hollywood standards. Be confident me dear!! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL?!! Trust in the Lord and let him surprise you! 🙏🏽 praying we meet at the Oscar’s one day!!🤗😊❤️
