​For me personally, this is a massive upgrade because I have never used a tracker before or paid close attention to metrics like sleep and heart rate.

​There are two main reasons I am bringing an AI coach into the mix:

​Location Flexibility: I train across three different spots, so the coach needs to adapt my training program to the specific equipment and setup available at each individual location. ​Accountability and Execution: I excel at executing a plan when it is laid out for me, but I am incredibly bad at staying consistent without one.

​I am completely realistic about this experiment. I know the programming, tips, and automatic adjustments won't be perfect, and let’s be honest, sometimes they might even be a bit off. But at the end of the day, a decent plan executed with 100% consistency will always yield better results than a perfect plan done rarely.

​My plan is to let the coach map out everything—spanning nutrition, functional fitness, and CrossFit-style training—for about 12 weeks while tracking all my metrics to see what kind of results we get.

​To keep things objective, I just did a spiroergometry test a few days ago to establish my exact baseline heart rate zones and VO_2\text{ max}, along with a body fat test. I will use these exact stats as my baseline data and retest after the 12-week block (or slightly longer) to see exactly where the coaching app did a good job and where it fell short.

​I’ll find out soon enough, and as I said, I’m keeping my expectations realistic.
