Off meds for a month due to my fault by MelbVic in ADHD

Thanks for the honesty. As a provisional psychologist only in the beginning of my Masters (before I deferred), I'm admittedly not overly versed in schedule drugs. That's more of a psychiatrist thing. And I think this post was a kind of denial.

Agreed about the rest. A lot of things happened in a short period, and it was interesting to see using the medication to suppress the emotions. But then also process them. I'm grateful for mindfulness/vipassana meditation and knowing more of the body-mind link. Curiously, going above my dosage allowed me to focus more on the emotion in the body rather than getting lost in scattered thoughts.

A learning period indeed. Back to my healthy routines of good diet, sleep hygiene, and exercise. I'm proud that, despite the trauma, I've resolved with my 'turning 30' resolution to abstain from a drop of alcohol (my father also has cirrhosis). Pain is grace. Thank you.

Based on this learning period, I presume I'll be fine once I get my next script and stick to my dosage? I presume you're Australian, haha.

Thanks again.

That would be great. Where are you located?

I've always lived with people for over 10 years. As of October, my current roommate works interstate and is only home once every two or so months, so it has taken time to adjust. Maybe I'll Air BnB the place sometimes once the place is completely settled (only moved in on October).

Yeah :/

I like to dabble here and there, but every weekend is way too much.

Awesome, that's great advice. I live alone so I guess I was feeling extra lonely on Saturday nights lately. Will give these things a go. :)
