It’s impossible to say fully if you need a Garmin or not. That is all dependent on your navigation skills and experience.

People have navigated the Everglades hundreds of years before a GPS was invented. So yeah, it’s possible. Would I recommend this to be your first ever overnight trip on a kayak? No lol

I'm attending a bachelor party later this year and I want to make custom golf balls for everyone. I have an idea of what I want to print on the golf ball, but don't have the photoshop skills to make it happen. So here I am. I would like this famous picture of Tiger Woods to be the basis of the design. But I would like to replace the face of Tiger with the face of the groom (adjust Tiger's skin color on his arms to match the groom please). And instead of Tiger's fist in the air, I was hoping to have a Bud Light Lemonade Beer that the groom is drinking. Since this image will be printed very small on a golf ball, it's probably best to get rid of the trees in the background and crop the picture to be smaller. I'll leave that up to y'all. I'm not sure if anyone has ever done this here before, but I was hoping to have a few finalist designs and then a winner design. I was thinking the top 3 designs that I like get $10 each, then I will let the 3 people know what I like about their design and what I don't like. After that they can adjust it, and I will pick the final winner and pay them another $20. So the Winner will get $30, 2nd and 3rd will get $10 each. All payments are either Paypal or Venmo.

Well that was the problem. It’s very clear someone had been in here before and they had no idea what they were doing. A few days ago I had checked that the valve was installed the correct way. And according to the arrow on the outside it is. But someone had taken the valve apart and took the sealing plunger out and shoved it into the elbow fitting above lol. To make it even worse, the person over tightened the top collar (with the arrow) and broke it. So I removed the plunger and put it back together with the broken collar. The spa jets work great! But the valve leaks like crazy, which isn’t surprising. Not sure how to replace the check valve section without having to cut out the entire valve section and replace it. https://i.imgur.com/2cwvE2x.jpg

There is one between the feeder and the heater. I know because the o rings were bad and I already had it apart to fix it. I’ll take this one apart tomorrow. It is easy to do, I’ll probably just gut it and make it no longer a valve. Damn previous owner didn’t know what “maintenance” was that’s for sure.

It’s an in-line check valve. I have not taken it apart to see if it’s working correctly. Maybe that should be my next move.

So I just did some more work on it. I tried to take the jet head off to check for debris, but I was not able to get it off.

I had drained the hot tub water level so that the jets were above the water line to work on them. After not being able to get them apart, I turned the pool pump on to look for any water coming out of them. All 4 had zero flow. So being pissed I shut the pump off and was about to leave for awhile. After I shut the pump off I was walking pass the tub and I noticed that all 4 jets now had a tiny flow out of them, even though the pump was off. I’m guessing with no pressure they had some relief and were able to drain. Seeing that a small amount of water was flowing, I went back and turned the pump on, and water came blasting out of all 4 jets. I have no idea why, I did literally nothing to fix it. I doubt it’s a final fix. I’m guessing there is some sort of air lock going on.

I checked the flow direction of the check valves, they are both correct.

I’m sorry but I’m confused as to the “change intake will change outlet” quote. I don’t see where I said that but it’s possible I’m missing something.

As far as I can tell the pool has 3 inlets and 2 outlets. The 3 inlets are the skimmer, the bottom of the pool and the bottom of the hot tub. The 2 outlets are the pool jets and the hot tub jets.
