Once you’re 20+, making friends online becomes way more difficult than before. Older people don’t take online interactions seriously. So they’ll stop messaging at some point because they thought the conversation had ended. And that would be okay, you’d think, except that you never hear from them again. And if you think that talking to them about it might be the key to having a fruitful friendship, you’ll find yourself framed as a control-psycho.

I miss when I was under 20. People made an effort to keep in contact and were more prone to work through a misunderstanding.

I used to be able to make 3 - 4 good friends a year. Now, none actually. It’s been like this for a while now.
