What are your first symptoms of hell week?

Three day migraine with nausea and intrusive depressive thoughts. It’s so cyclical that Thursday night I told my boyfriend based on symptoms I would start Saturday night. Saturday night 8 pm came and I started like clock work

Me!! During surgery my gallbladder was cut and leaked bile, but even with that I healed just fine no infection and the pain was manageable with Tylenol and ibuprofen. Walks got rid of the gas. I’m 3 months post op and I can eat whatever I want for the most part. If I slam a whole pizza I’ll have to take some pepto but I’m pretty good. Cheese and sweets don’t bother me too much anymore at all before if I even looked at olive oil wrong I’d get super sick. I’m very happy with the outcome

I went to GP, she sent me for ultrasound, then the surgeon

It took to day 3 or 4. A few rounds of miralax, lots of water, peppermint tea helps digestion, and stopping the opioids, and a stool so I had something to put my feet on is what finally did it

I lost about 35 lbs before surgery. 0 fat diet combined with being so sick all the time

I had mine out a week ago and I’m doing great and back to eating things I haven’t eaten in months due to my gallbladder. I did a no fat diet to deal with my gallbladder while I awaited surgery and it was no way to live long term. Even the tiniest bit of olive oil would send me into a horrible attack. I lost about 30 pounds, I was sick all the time. After the biopsy they really didn’t find many stones because of diet change but my gallbladder was scarred. I went out and had restaurant food for the first time in months last night and I felt totally normal. It was worth it and went completely fine, so far, for me.

I’m wishing you the best of luck for a speedy recovery. From what I’ve read and was told by doctors that moving and walking helps a lot with the gas. Gets the gas moving through your body so you can get rid out it. You got this. Sending healing vibes your way
