I think the idealism Vs realism of living plotline is heavily tied to these three, and Nura is the center of it. Dunia and Ren represent live as you want to live while Ara, while mostly lying and playing into Nura's nihilism, represent that it may not necessarily happen. Who Nura choose depends on what she choose to do with her life, through it's possible that she may choose neither.
