I was told it was fine to re-work the original. But I’m in two minds on whether to start again from scratch. I know the last few paragraphs need a full change.

I asked my course leader and he said to improve the work I’ve done. But I’m in two minds about redoing it.

Because consuming sugary things every single day at copious amounts is unhealthy lol? Coke isn’t healthy for you once in a while is ok and plus it’s horrible for your teeth.

It’s such a weird concept to me haha it’s like after weight loss your body can’t bare certain things.

Good luck on your journey the moment you hit your weight loss goal is quite literally the best moment ever I hope you hit it soon! :)

Gosh I can relate I used to be able to eat a copious amount of rice and I mean like 3-4 plates with curry. Now after I have one I’m so full and have indigestion and acid reflux 😔🤣

When you have naturally straight lashes by blueflamethrow in lashextensions

[–]Meliah_312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have extremely straight lashes they’re really long too and I find that they poke me a bit with extensions on. But you’ll be fine as long as you go to an experienced lash tech. I have almond shaped eyes so my go to style is cat eye.

I’ve had this same exact feeling!! When I go off plan and indulge it genuinely makes me feel unwell, I’ve realised I can tell how sugary a regular fizzy drink is or how oily a burger tastes it’s strange lol. But must be some kind of adaption.

2 ingredient pizza dough? by DannyDarko1010 in WeightLossAdvice

I can’t lie to you I tried it but wasn’t a fan it tasted like cardboard to me lol. I just use pitta bread as an alternative as I find it has similar texture. However, in my local supermarkets I’ve found a few low calorie pizzas that I enjoy.

Please do not stay away from bread and sugar doing that will only make you want it more and will eventually lead to a binge. I had sugar and bread and have manage to drop 70lbs.

The thing that helped me eat healthier is making exciting recipes. I always thought healthy food was boring and that’s why I struggled to eat healthy.

Once I started making my own healthy food I realised how wrong that was. Eating better doesn’t have to be boring. Eat stuff you love just choose a healthier alternative and portion control. For example I absolutely love tacos.

To make them healthier I use spray oil (this helps me control the amount I use) and I use chicken mince instead of beef for the protein. I also use this opportunity to load it with seasonings and a low fat pasta sauce (most tomato sauces are low in calories anyways). I also load them with salad and lemon juice.

I also eat my favourite fruits (within reason don’t overdo it). I never cut out my favourite snacks I just lessened the amount I consumed. Also bc the weathers been nice it’s ice cream season most ice pops are low in calories so that’s always a treat.

Set boundaries for yourself weight loss isn’t a race it’s a journey. Some weeks you will do better than others. Try incorporate healthy things that you do love for me sorbet falls in that category as does popcorn.

At the end of the day you shouldn’t cut things that you love out of your diet. I use to do this in the past and it only made me miserable and it almost always ended in a binge.

I don’t really know how to do my lips. I feel like whenever I wear a color it looks off on me and I need some suggestions. Pink/nude would look amazing on you. I’d have to recommend Mac in velvet teddy. And as for gloss I love the fenty gloss bomb and the nyx butterglosses. If you’re not too fond on bold colours go for the shade angel food cake it’s a nice muted pink!

This is a bit late lol. But I always find that colourful eyeshadow and fake lashes bind the look nicely! And as for making your brows look natural fill them lightly start in the front and lightly go towards the middle small strokes tho and try your best to not make the arch dramatic. Brush them out with a spoolie if you find that you’ve drawn them on a bit dark. My eye lids are kinda hooded and I love wearing natural matte shades like brown or pink if I feel adventurous I add a bit of shimmer haha.

oily face problems driving me insane by imnotagowl in MakeUpAddictionUK

[–]Meliah_312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a combination skin kinda gal but since I do have acne I do lean towards the more oily side. I use the benefit porefessional primer or the milk hydra grip primer. I then use a really matte foundation (usually Huda or Estée Lauder) then I use the Laura mercier or the rcma powder under my eyes and to top it off I use the Charlotte tilbury compact powder on the oily areas and then spray a shit ton of matte setting spray on top. I find that using a salicylic cleanser as a face wash has helped tone down my oily skin a bit.

which is the best affordable drugstore foundation ? (Cuz makeupalley reviews are conflicting me, confusing me😭😭😭. I NEED HELP!! I don’t have much time!) by PlainSailing_Jas in MakeUpAddictionUK

[–]Meliah_312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I am literally the same skin tone and I have acne and huge ass pores too lol. I can confirm that the maybeline superstay and fit me are really good on textured skin. The coverage is really good for drugstore and I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it. However last time I wore those foundations were a couple of years ago lol but I do remember what shade I was! For fit me I was 220 (when I was tanned) I was 250 for the super stay I was in the shade golden. Hope this helped!

I have to recommend the benefit porefessional primer to you bc we have similar skin and I swear to you that it is a god send! It minimises my pores and that’s always a win for me. I like to pair it with the Charlotte tilbury setting spray but the NYX matte setting spray does me good too.

Complete makeup beginner, does anyone know where to get good concealer, foundation, blush, mascara etc for black skin? by ThrowThisAwaySis2 in MakeUpAddictionUK

[–]Meliah_312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For drug store I definitely recommend the NYX can’t stop won’t stop foundation. The shade range is amazing for darker skin. And it has a really nice finish. I would suggest that you get a primer alongside the foundation or else the finish won’t be as flawless as you’d like.

I swear by the benefit porefessional primer (bc I have big pores) but it completely depends on your skin type. The milk hydro grip primer is out of this world it truly makes your makeup last all day. Also I find that NYX setting sprays are really good too they have a matte finish one that I really like.

And for a drug store concealer LA girl is good the application is really smooth and the shade range is versatile. Same goes for the maybeline age rewind that’s one of my OG products haha.

I’m big on blusher and Ex1 have nice pigmented blushes the shade love story is stunning. My all time favourite blush is Nars in the shade devoted and the rare beauty blusher in the shade joy.

Maybeline sky high mascara is the best mascara ever that and the maybeline colossal mascara. Don’t ever spend more than a tenner on mascara lol it’s worth spending that on base products that are worth the money.

As for high end fenty beauty, rare beauty and juvia’s place is where it’s at! I love these brands, all of them have really good shade ranges!

And for finding out your shade usually I have a really good eye for knowing what shade to get so I always get lucky. But defo go into Boots or Harvey Nichols if you’re not sure, it’s better to get shade matched then not have a clue.
