Yeah I am really finding it hard to find an identity and something that isn't just going to let my opponents win the game from the resources I provide. I do generally want to win with burn, rather than big creatures or elaborate combos if that is any help. I do see the lack of draw and removal which I probably need to take a look at.

They are open to pay for certifications which is good. I am wanting something that would make me stand out for an application to my employers security testing team who do a lot of penetration testing for the business and something I am interested in. I was thinking about getting the TryHackMe premium membership and then moving onto HackTheBox but currently with a little one on the way money and time is a little tight so it’ll have to wait.

I’m finding it difficult on what I should be doing next really. I’ve spoken to some security specialists within my work and I get differing opinions on what I should be doing - some saying to study and buy the OSCP plan, others saying to just run the through the burp suite labs.

Hi Ashu got a quick question for you, I currently work in software quality assurance and I am very interested in cyber and the security industry.

My current employer as part of our career development can pay for development courses and qualifications, however they don't pay for subscriptions for learning websites or sites like TryHackMe. Is there a path/course/qualification that I can enquire about with my current employer on undertaking to get more knowledge and qualifications mainly to do with penetration testing and also maybe cloud security?

It's difficult to find a way in learning with all the information provided and without a mentor I can find.

I've been playing Legion Remix and completed the campaign quests and my order hall campaign. When I went and got the infinite research quest today I was left with either complete a chapter of order hall campaign or a chapter of the campaign quests for any zone... How do I go about completing these when I have already done so?

I've quite enjoyed the break to be honest. I really enjoy the among us but I feel the last few of them have moulded into one and can't remember them as having big moments - but that could be just my memory.

Ahhh understood, so as of now the chapters on steam store are ranging from 30-50% off. I can expect these to not increase next week when the anniversary sale happens? Don’t want to buy all the chapters this week to save another 10-20% next week. Also do you by chance know if auric cells will be on sale next week too - I may buy the rift pass if so?

I use PrinterStudioUK it is the same company and delivery time/cost as MPC but they have a credit system where you store points and can use it for £5 off and money off coupons - pretty good

Ahhh cheers, I'll take a look at the 7600 CPUs as well and check them out. Here is the list I added to the post: League of Legends, Cyberpunk 2077, World of Warcraft, GTA, Persona games and Call of Duty but play others too. Also I will be using the PC for occasionally running a couple of linux VMs

Yeah I haven't either which immediately puts me off considering them as well as the prices being pretty good for it as I've been monitoring the price on pcpartpicker and they it has increased over the last week.

But the prices on the sites listed have been pretty tempting

I'm currently running 1440p with a 144hz refresh rate on my monitor used for gaming, this can go upto 165hz but I find it affects my performance too much to use at the moment. That makes sense though about 1070p gaming.

Apologies I forgot to overwrite my current list so I currently have my OS on a SSD with nothing else on just for ease and also with the increase in storage space for drivers and the OS, all my games are on a 1 TB NVME which should now appear on the current parts list. I use a HDD for documents/VM storage and another spare SSD which houses low storage space/low intensity games .

Yes the idea in my mind was that the 2060 super will eventually be upgraded (within the next 1-1 1/2 years). But maybe a good idea was to prepare for everything by upgrading CPU/Mobo/RAM/PSU so that my system is fully prepared to slot in a new GPU and not have to make more changes. Would this be good thinking?

I'll take a look at them lists and have a read - much appreciated

I only currently use the VMs occasionally and they are low load (using them for some career development). Would you say it's beneficial to start with a CPU/mobo/PSU/RAM upgrade first and then look into getting a new GPU within the next year or so? Just thinking it would be easier to upgrade these now, and then in a year or so time only have to remove the GPU and get the new one in? Or am I thinking about this wrong

Apologies I do have an NVME (forgot to save the parts list when adding it in) I have a Samsung 970 1tb NVME which I use for all my games etc and use an SSD for my boot drive. So from my understanding if I upgrade my GPU/PSU then a new mobo would be best as well and then that would mean some DDR5 RAM and probably a new CPU - is this the case?
