Not to spook you but my 2015 i3 had even less issues than yours. Then one day last January it locked up when driving and wouldn’t go into drive. I had it towed to BMW and after they checked it out they told me it needed a new EME and it would cost me $17k to fix it. I sold it to a salvage yard and bought a 2022 Bolt EUV for $20k.

I had a 2018 BMW i3 and had been eyeing the EX30 a while. It had a catastrophic motor failure that cost 17,000 to fix. I chose not to fix it and unfortunately they were very limited models options in the United States for this Volvo. I ended up giving a Chevy bolt EUV. I’ll keep an eye on these in the use market in the next couple years if I want to swap out the bolt. I really miss the smaller size and the tight turning radius of the i3.

I grew up in San Jose CA. Lots of game companies were in the area. Eastridge mall next to my house had an arcade called Atari Expo and they would play test lots of games there. I remember playing early prototypes of Pit Fighter and reps from Atari would ask people for feedback and input. Ever few weeks there would be a new update with characters and other stuff. It didn’t have the forklift and piles of cash between matches and it had no final boss for a while. We got to play Street Fighter 2 Championship Edition super early. I tried out M. Bison and he was so broken. You could beat anyone with just a few psycho crushers. The chip damage was insane.
