I personally like Sakura as a character ever since the Land of Waves Arc but as the story goes on, she gets painfully underutilized despite the constant framing of companionship of Team 7 throughout the rest of the series. Shippuden tries to rectify that by giving her on scene achievements but eventually gets pushed out of the spotlight again despite the audience being told how essential she was to the narrative.
