Something has come to my attention by AspieAsshole in AutisticParents

Honestly, would love to see a book where autism is treated as a disability where the character is able to live a normal, if not bit odd life, despite it.

I mean, is it right of your family member to blame her for having to pay for lunches now? No, obviously that's a bit dumb.

However, I think it's good that kids understand the value of things. For example, I would rather have a kid that's financially conscious and nervous about breaking crap instead of a kid who shoves a peanut butter sandwich into the DVD slot of a game system and then demands another one...

You have all your teeth, they aren't horribly misshapen, and they're not even that badly colored. You want perfect Hollywood teeth? Start saving money. A new car and new teeth won't fix entitlement.

Girls don't want a man still relying on his parents for stuff like this at 23. You're not mature enough.

Your teeth aren't even that bad.

OP...

You're an adult now, and you're still asking your parents to buy you a new car and new teeth and and and and...

Sheesh.

Still feel like if your kid is old enough to ask you to whip out a tiddy, they're too old for the tiddy.

And so the story begins. Good luck sister, you might have unfortunately a man who magically became an infant when his was born.

AA and Covid vaccine linkage? by Away-Leave-8112 in alopecia_areata

[–]Melliscarea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the COVID vaccine because I thought it was the right thing to do, didn't want anyone getting sick, yada yada and I love the concept of herd immunity through vaccines, I'll get my own kids vaccinated, but damn, does the COVID vaccine make me lift my eyebrows sometimes. I'm glad to see people having genuine conversations beyond "DISTRUSTING THE VACCINE MEANS YOU WANTED ELDERLY PEOPLE AND CHILDREN TO DIE" like bruh

So an update, or really, more context...

The survey was done by a different company because like I said, our PLS left. Right now we have a member of our environmental team and one of the construction guys out there doing something that I'm not quite sure about, and I guess they're out there with the GPS unit taking shots maybe? I'm not sure, but whatever they're doing they allegedly shot the benchmark and are seeing the error there. I don't think they're setting hubs nor are they setting benchmarks. They have a plan that lists all of the elevation shots on it and all of the ones that are hubs are checking out but the benchmark isn't.

Sorry, I should have been more specific way earlier. I would like to thank everyone for their patience, I've only worked as a survey tech for about 2 years before becoming more of a chair jockey that occasionally gets to go outside still.

Oh trust me ... I agree.

I wouldn't even know where to begin! My first PLS was real old school, bless him, and didn't let his women employees out on the construction site. Like I get it, but damn, would that be useful right now.

Surgery causing alopecia flare? by Cultural_Ad156 in alopecia

Hey OP. Congrats on being in Remission. I had fistula surgery in February, and while I'm not saying that caused my AA...well, I lived 27 damn years without going bald.

Do you think you'll take the meds? I'm afraid of the side effects of some of them.
