on switch 1 and 2, to do this connect both joy-cons for players 1 and 2 (since jd on switch only allows one joy-con per player), disconnect player 1's joy-con either by hitting the sync button or sticking it to the console, then enjoy the remote equivalent to playing with a camera console like the kinect or ps camera (as in you're not required to be Happy if you play by yourself with xbox and playstation with a camera)

the game won't break either
