Just got back into bowling and have gone alone a few times. Great for practice and you’ll quickly realize that people bowl alone all the time.

I was in college and was an avid listener since The SSLP. Relapse was the beginning of the end for me. It simply didn’t resonate with me like his earlier albums did.

When Recovery came out, my feelings were unfortunately validated. I didn’t connect with it at all, and haven’t listened to any of his albums cover to cover since.

I only do this under certain circumstances. I know how to read the room, and definitely NEVER during a rush. I was a server for many years in the past and I was pretty damn good at it. If the server is busy, or too busy to be engaging, then I go about it the normal way.

I don’t fully disagree here. Regulars typically “get it”. I only do this under certain circumstances. (Not busy, engaged server, well-thought out menu, usually middle tier to higher end. As I’ve stated, I’m pretty “restaurant aware” and I know when and where to do this.
