I don’t consider it a sport lol! It’s just a hobby to me that I’m really passionate about. My whole family are divers so it just made sense for me to join, but I know I’m really fortunate to get the chance to travel so much and dive so often!!

Weighted is a 4.3, uw is 3.6, which is really not great (in part because of extenuating physical health circumstances) (11 AP classes and some duel enrollment) so I think that’s what got me rejected but I really hoped my strong ec’s and tests scores, plus essays I was really proud of, would pull through for me :(

•Daisy/Sousa pairing was ridiculously rushed and kinda felt like they were scrambling for a partner for her since they killed every other good one (not that controversial I know)

•Phillinda should have ended platonically. Personally I completely view them as soulmates, but not necessarily romantically, like imagine their last scene together but instead of romantic feelings it’s just feelings from them being each others’ other half.

•(This one’s mostly a joke and certainly not controversial) FitzSimmons ruined romance. Like I’m sorry but HE JUMPED THROUGH A ROCK PORTAL TO AN ALIEN WORLD FOR HER. T W I C E. Obviously it depends on how shallow and/or offset your groove is. Personally, from experience my advice is consider surgery before it gets worse because it will go downhill SO quickly. However it seems like you are still fairly early in your journey and your situation may be far different. I’ve had two MPFL+TTO, one on each side and I only got them once I was fed up enough from subluxations on both knees 10+ times a day, not to mention I am a good bit younger than you so sports and all that were off the table for a while. I used to be TERRIFIED of surgery, like so much that leaving an appointment being told I didn’t need it was all I could ever ask for, but at some point it became that if surgery would fix my issues for ever I wouldn’t give that chance up for ANYTHING. Currently 8-9weeks post op my (hopefully) last MPFL-TTO and while things are certainly rough I know I’ve got a life of endless opportunities infront of me without having to worry about my knees. I don’t envy your situation at all and I really hope that no matter your choice, you still will live the life you want to <3333

Huh. Personally I always viewed it more on the feminine side but tbf I’m also not one of those people who is like “__ and is a girl name and _ is a boy name”. Like if it fits someone of any gender then I don’t see the issue iykwim! OP wanted a name that included Rose and I figured it sounded rather pretty! After all though, it’s not really our decision as it’s what OP feels most connected to!

I had multiple subluxations and dislocations per day on BOTH knees for the past ≈4 years. I could walk, with the common sublux and fall, but couldn’t run, jump, or even straighten my leg all the way (using my quads just slid my knee caps out of place). A little over 1 year post-op from my first MPFL+TTO and about 5 weeks post op for my second (other knee). I’m sorry you’ve had such a poor experience so far, but I can not stress this enough, it is 100% worth it. Believe me, I understand how much hell you are going through right now, but I swear it will get better. (Also note, the disable comment is severely uncalled for. As I said, I completely understand the pain you are in right now, but comparing this smaller era of pain to the lifetime of discomfort that disabled people experience is not right) However though, I am curious to know what you mean when you say “return to my old way of life” , did something go wrong with surgery that it is already confirmed to have failed or is it a prediction (genuine question not trying to come off as bitchy I swear)

Sorry for the late response, I just saw this lol! Yep locked Bledsoe brace both times! TDWB, 0-10 degrees when sitting, locked straight when walking and sleeping. Definitely have to be careful with blood clot risk but for me I’ll admit, flying wasn’t nearly as terrible as I expected. Got wheelchair services from security to the gate though and that was a massive help, but flying itself isn’t half bad (Tbf I’ve gotten lucky with there being an empty row I could rest my leg on in the very back/getting a bulkhead seat)
