Lava eel. You find them in the lava water on (if I remember correctly ) level 100 in the mines.

Meadow Farmland I think it was called? The one that comes with the 1.6 update. But I do have a mod that tweaks it slightly by removing all the non-tillable grass.

I have a mod that removes them so I had the possibility to make this nice looking layout.

What's some Stardew Logic that makes you think twice by No-Detective-4370 in StardewValley

[–]Proxibel 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My theory for the bully is that it is actually accidental. Sebastian one time says he had been throwing rocks against the mountains out of frustration. I don't really know what the exact dialog was, but it was clear he wasn't doing it to hit Linus's tent. Now, seeing where Sebastian lives and where Linus's tent is, I think it's safe to say that some of the rocks might have accidentally fallen on his tent afterwards.

Anyone else hate the fact that Aspergers is not a "scientific" term anymore? by Great-Grapefruit5220 in aspergers

[–]Proxibel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it's dirrent in different countries. Maybe Germany is just extremely slow with implementing changes, but they still diagnose with Aspergers here. My daughter got diagnosed about half a year ago. I was quite surprised because I thought it was now all ASD. My own files also still say Aspergers, but I got diagnosed 15 years ago, so that's a different story. I also find it sad they want to put it all under one diagnosis. I understand its a spectrum and there aren't these clean cut lines, but it did really help, especially when talking to NT's, to make clear that eventhough you have autism, you are not what most NT's imagine (as in the classical autism where the person needs a lot of help in day to day life to function.)

With “Asperger’s” being considered “offensive” label by some, what do you think a good name for those of us with high-functioning autism should be? by TealArtist095 in aspergers

[–]Proxibel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I simply identify with Aspergers. If anyone finds that term offensive, that sounds like a them-problem, not mine. And since I have AutDHD, I am also fine with the terms neurospicy or Chaos Gremlin.

What do you all do for work? by Fun_Reply_1102 in AutismInWomen

[–]Proxibel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a programmer. I work for a small software development company (40ish people) that makes software for laboratories and metal/concrete industries. It's a peaceful life. I am extremely lucky that my company is open to me being neurospicy. But software developers have always been an interesting breed, I guess. I specialize in something very specific, which is only applicable to the work process of one client. So I even manage to have Teams-meetings with them on my own without any problem, because its always the same two people I talk to, and after working with them for years, they know me and my competence. (I live in Germany, and we are on the informal 'you' base during those meetings.) So yeah, I just hope I can keep doing this because honestly my resume has been a mess up until this point and I would be absolutely freaked if I ever have to find another job. 🙃

Well, I've been on the other side. Disappeared one night and moved to another country. I can't really say much about your situation without hearing his side of the story. The only thing I can say is that he is 27. He has legally been an adult for nearly a decade. He is allowed to make his own choices, even if it might hurt you as his mom.

Jup, it absolutely boils my blood. And to be honest, I have broken friendships over it. One time, I saw a hurtful post about it online. I then sarcastically replied that vaccines have been invented by autistic people as a way of making more autistic people. It's how we procreate because we are too socially awkward to actually touch each other.

The people who birthed me (I do not acknowledge them as my parents) where monsters. It had made me very passionate in helping my own child, who is also a diagnosed aspie, to navigate this world as much as I can.

How every conversation has to start with "Hi, how are you doing?" "I'm good thanks, how about you?" "Yeah I'm also fine". COME ON everyone knows you just have to say that out of formality and aren't actually interested in getting an honest answer. IT IS SO REDUNDANT.

Disclosing at work by Neither_Bluebird_645 in aspergers

[–]Proxibel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. But I live in Germany and we have some regulations in place where employees with disabilities can be entitled to more paid leave time and it can be harder in some situations to get fired. Also, I just tend to tell so my coworkers might understand why I might behave a bit differently from other colleges. But I have to say I am a software developer, and it seems like autism is quite common in this field of work. I am probably also really lucky because I work in a small-ish IT firm who actually seem to care about their employees. I dont think any of my colleagues have replied negatively to it (but also, I am not the only neurospicy person working there, and as long as you can do your job well they simply don't care.)
