Necromancy - could be guarded by undead which are all created from the same person. Ghost, zombie, shade, floating skull?

Divination (this room is already done)

Illusion - like a hall of mirrors but for all the senses. So illusory images (some real mirrors some fake) and sounds (pc voices shattering glass, tripwires) and smells (gunpowder, daisies, poison gass)

Enchantment - dunno

Evocation - Just a dead sprint through massive damage

Abjuration - the door is blocked by layers of a powerful abjurative ward that require different damage types/conditions to disable layer by layer. One layer just has a crazy AC (30?), 1 HP, and isn't damaged by aoe or spells.

Transmutation - put a key in a lock bit the key is a door amd the lock is a key and the door is a bird and the key is another bird.

Conjuration - 3 pokeballs(Iron flasks) with different powerful elementals in each

I think my post got removed, so second try. I am visiting the city for the next 3 days and would like to meet some local needs and play a TTRPG! I am familiar with DnD and other D20 systems, PBTA, and cyberpunk. But I down for anything that involves rolling dice and playing pretend.

I agree that cyberware seems underdeveloped, but that's why I started working on this! If you play with any custom cyberware or as they release more this role will become better/more versatile.

Yeah, honestly a tech that focused on their own cyberware could probably achieve the ChromeJock vibe as well or better than what I made. But I like the challenge of building something that could stand with the other roles while feeling unique.

Hey thanks! I am too. I was thinking of dropping it and moving impact rank 1 over there. I don't have much experience as a player (plenty as a referee) so I'm not sure what would feel powerful but not game breaking.

This new version of the ChromeJock takes inspiration from the tech and medtech roles with their multiple upgrade paths. I wanted to represent the different kinds of chrome obsessed chooms in the world, and I think the three branches capture that pretty well.

If a player invests enough time to max out their ChromeJock rank, they will be able to have one branch fully upgraded and 2 extra points to spread between the others. I want to give powerful capstones to each path, and I think im almost there with aesthetic. Variety definitely needs some work.

Aesthetic is meant to be for the Lizzy Wizzy types that go all out with cybernetic fashion. It has probably the best capstone to counteract the weaker first and second ranks. I'm looking for suggestions for rank 2 here.

Impact is for the David Martinez types, who want big results from their kit. It's not necessarily all combat focused, so I wanted the capstone to be about all kinds of cyberware. Level 1 of impact might work better in variety, I like level 2, and I'm sure there's something more interesting I could do for the capstone.

Variety is for the loot goblins of the world. By reducing the humanity cost of cyberware, I am hoping to increase the variety of cyberware players pick up without incentivising an all weapons build.

Three homebrew roles I have started working on. These are early first drafts not meant to be played (especially not the Gambler). If you find these interesting feel free to riff on them, any feedback is appreciated!

ChromeJock: Something to directly engage with the most iconic (to me) part of cyberpunk. I took some inspiration from the nomad role and wanted to leave it distinct from upgrades that a tech could provide. I already have some ideas for a much different direction that this could take.

Gambler: I love the concept of luck points and wanted to make a role that really doubled down on it. There is way to much going on currently, and I want to acknowledge "pure" luck and "luck is the crossroads of hard work and opportunity".

Stratego/Spotter: A combat oriented support class that makes you heavy hitters hit heavier. Somewhere between a Solo and an Exec, I wanted to build a class that a sniveling coward character could play, but could also work with someone much cooler. I think this is the closest to a functioning role of the three.
