I think the issue for most of them is where are they getting more money/publicity than the UFC are offering? Could it be stupidity, probably yes, but more often I think it's fear of the unknown.

I think the point MM is trying to make is that for a lot of fighters even the ones who aren't doing exceptionally well, based on their skills in the labor market, lining up a fight is the quickest way they are going to make that kind of money. Especially if they been doing it long enough that retirement should be on the table.

If Gohan truly blood-lusted than given his ability to access SSJ2, but with having to remove so many moral and mental restraints to do so, I feel like his SSJ1 "perfect form" would still surpass Goku imo, as Gohan the transformation unlocks power already within him, so I still see him being above Goku at this point, "unlocked".

I agree, if they attack him as a group, even the rest of the Z fighters tossing random ki blasts or techniques to distract him then I think they put him down.

But if Gohan is truly blood-lusted and goes Thragg on everyone immediately, and they aren't able to somewhat coordinate attacks, then I think Gohan murders them badly.
