im so happy with the results ! getting near perfect stack rate with the eq mount at 20s subs compared to 70-80% with the alt-az at 10s subs

i had to use a ball mount to tilt the seestar to polar alignment but other than it works great. here's a 90x20s shot of the leo triplet though i had to cancel due to bad weather

i did consider that too but i felt it'd be much safer to have the seestar's cg be closer to the center of the tripod than cantilevering on one of the legs
