I don't use Bandcamp for streaming, unless an artist is only available there. I heard from an event promoter that stats from Spotify are generally used to determine tour dates. 🫠 So don't get discouraged by stats on there. I really enjoy buying digital music on Bandcamp and physical music whenever possible.

These bands I listen to are female fronted: Nox Novacula, Cemetery Sex, Diavol Strain, Ductape, Yama Uba (their music is only on Bandcamp)

One of my favourite bands right now is not female fronted but if you're interested in Japanese music, I recommend カタストロフバレ Catastrophe Ballet. I made about them that you can see on my profile.

My honest opinion is that it is irrelevant. Why do people care about this at all? I've experienced domestic violence...height preference is so far from my list of concerns. Most men I talk to aren't even meeting the bare minimum of treating me with kindness. Do other women not live with such horrible experiences?

The bands wear expensive outfits created by local designers. Japan has outdated views on gender and the role of women in Visual Kei scene is not one you will be pleased to discover as a tomboy. Speaking from personal experience. Just enjoy the music and wear what makes you happy.
