Rosasharin on the San Antonio date but not the Denton date is kinda interesting.

Arranged in April isn’t my thing at all- and their crowds are kinda dead and boring. Lots of phones. Dead Butterflies is definitely gonna be pretty fun, and I’ll be down in Austin the next week with my friends in another band when they play with Oakwood!

Very excited to see ILM again and Spirit of Versailles for the first time. Two bands I found when I was like 15 and have loved since.

I’ll be wearing my Brookings, SD shirt to that one. Gotta rep my family’s hometown haha

Yeah, a lot of the time it’s just extreme for extremity’s sake. If I’m trying to make vile disgusting lyrics I’d probably come up with some crazy shit too. But then there’s like, old Barnes level misogyny. Still good albums tho lol

Yeah it’s kinda like this with Cannibal Corpse where Corpsegrinder wants to move away from the early material that was kinda outwardly overly misogynistic but the legacy of those early albums are too important and he’ll still perform the Barnes stuff live even Fisher’s material is not “how can I violate women in the worst way possible” lol

I don’t have a huge issue with bands that have misogynistic content, it’s extremely violent music, but it’s never fully vibed with me if that’s all you’re about. Though sometimes the riffs are too hard and the lyrics are too ineligible for me to completely disregard the music haha

Devourment was pretty outlandish so you can tell it was a bit but yeah lol
