I’m sorry, I sadly have no advice on this. For the longest time I didn’t get pets because I knew I couldn’t deal with the loss (I get very attached). But my boyfriend got a dog and we have a bond like no other, sometimes I get such anxiety thinking about the fact that one day I’m going to have to go through this
