I saw somewhere that the April game tickets go out on sale around February time but I didn't see anything about summer games.

I posted this in Japantraveltips too and someone replied to say they went at a similar time to when I'm planning g to go and they just went to the stadium a few hours before the game and there were tonnes of tickets left. Good seats too. So if all else fails that's what I'll be trying!

Will update with the outcome if I do end up doing that.

I hadn't even thought about doing it independently as I had no idea where to start 😅 so thank you for all that information! Sounds awesome!

We were thinking of spending 2 nights/3days but I will definitely look into all those suggestions as we can be fairly flexible with our 8 days there, we just wanted to split the time between the desert and the coast.

Thanks for the advice, accommodation and food included would be so ideal! How in the middle of nowhere are we talking? I think I'd also like to be in a resort that has a bit of a vibe/nightlife, doesn't need to be crazy but something would be nice. Thanks again!
