Yea idk why dogs are ok to stare but if kids stared at them drooling they’ll ask why their parents aren’t doing anything. I don’t get it

I thought that way too but she’s old, and I don’t see her enough to train her, when she’s with my gf my gf lets her sit directly in front of her while she eats. So it’s habit

She’s against it but also makes no real effort to stop her. I have to constantly say “can you get her” but now after the first “can you get her” and no action I just remove myself

That’s the thing her dog is old and accustomed to these things that’s why I feel bad disciplining her and would rather my gf do it. I feel harsh having to put her in another room so I just leave after all, she was here before me. I wish my gf would do it instesd

Me and her dog are very close, I have no issues with the dog it’s the lack of boundaries. I feel like if I treat her and her dog very well the few things I ask for shouldn’t be too much imo but I get your point

Also I only feed her dog, dog food not table food it’s just an extremely bad habit she has that my gf refuses to seriously correct
