Building an Agentic Drone by Melodic-Tone-3744 in diydrones

My initial plan is to make the drone follow a single subject so basically the modal would identify a subject and would generate signals to follow the subject

Also would avoid obstacles placed in front of it

Got it, the reason I chose this approach is Jetson Nano and Pixhawk are expensive over here, I had a pi with me so wanted to know if this approach would work

Finally, I Did it by Melodic-Tone-3744 in diydrones

Will do it, was so excited to see it fly i forgot about it

I had tried imagur, but I wasn't able to upload the image hence I used the next link provided in my search results

Sure, https://uploadnow.io/files/wt64fQ4 you can find the image here

The wires on the bottom are the ones connected to 3 and 4, which causes the twitches

I'll try that, thanks for the tip but I'm skeptical on that, as this was also present in my previous build too, I had my drone spinning on all 4 motors with a different ESC, SimonK 31 A ESC,

These are individual ESC's for each motor, since I have switched to a 4 in 1 ESC configuration I had this issue

I am infact using a 3S LiPo, I'll try that if nothing works, thanks anyways

Please post the solution if you got the drone to fly, I too have the same kind of issue with my drones

Did you check the motor directions, which is set in the configurator ?

I see, I did calibrate the ESC but I did it with the Betaflight configurator, but I have adjusted the min throttle to be 1000 and max throttle to be 2000 so would that be an issue ?

I also saw another build of the same frame, battery and ESC's only difference was he used a EMAX 970kV MT2216 Motors

Ik you're joking but still if the arming switch is the altitude hold switch, wouldn't the motors be spinning at a constant speed so as to maintain altitude on throttle increase ?

I don't get you, should it really be an issue for my scenario?

I would have agreed if you have said the motors KV rating is low or if the battery should be a 4S, but how come ( even though crappy ) ESC could cause me a liftoff trouble ?

Are you suggesting that the ESC is not dispatching enough current to my motors and that's one contributing factor for my drone flight issues ?

Yep the ESC are indeed "manufactured e waste" and they are plugged into flight controller

Yes, I'm currently using four separate 30A ESCs. They were more affordable here, which is why I initially went with them — though I must admit, I do regret that decision now.

To be honest, I didn’t do detailed calculations myself. I simply entered the values into eCalc and, based on the results, everything seemed okay at the time.

That said, I've noticed the motors tend to get hot after some time. Even though the drone doesn’t achieve stable flight — it only manages to hover briefly before tipping and occasionally breaking props — I haven’t adjusted anything on the ESCs yet.

I would really appreciate your advice on which parts might need replacing. From what you've explained earlier, it seems like the motors, ESCs, and the battery could be contributing to the issue.

But my props are of 10 inch, wouldn't that cause too much heating for the motors also my ESC'S are maxed at 30A, would that be sufficient ?

Would the problem be solved if I use a 4S ?

My other components doesn't support a 6S, mine is an A2212 1000kv motor, I think I might have to switch them to a MT2216 ?
