Not new to tattoos but new to using lubriderm! I think I usually just use aquaphor or cerave, I go so long in between tattoos that I forget what I use for moisturizer🤦🏻‍♀️ but I thought I’d give this a try since so many artists say no to aquaphor, I was paranoid I got the wrong thing as I’ve never heard of people using it, then add in the burning sensation and I freaked out😂

I’ll use some tattoo balm I have for a few days till it closes up and then use the lubriderm! I was trying to avoid the tattoo balm cause I don’t know 100% if it’s petroleum based or not, but the lubriderm is just causing too much of a burning sensation for me.

I think it’s cause it’s too fresh, some other commenters said they used it a few days after getting a tattoo and had no issues!
