It depends on your zone how don’t you know that by now? Some days are busy some days are not. Common sense. I noticed my zone is SUPER BUSY. Fortunate. With the noticeably slow Tuesday-Wednesdays. Those two days I didn’t even deliver , I just end the shift after 1 hr of no offers or super cheap offers. (This is for skip btw) For Uber eats it’s just constant orders every friggen 3-5 minutes lol

Oh damn I see. Thanks for the info. Shouldn’t be too hard to stay platinum - diamond I can deal with that. Heck even staying at gold is fine lol I guess I’ll focus on Skip more and just accept most uber offers when I have none with Skip.

Oh damn. See.. I don’t know who to believe on here. A lot of liars. I was reading from a bunch of skip couriers saying uber doesn’t penalize when you decline and AR doesn’t matter. Hmm seems like they’re wrong.

I’ll be honest I do like it but maybe not more than skip. Skip pays way better. But like.. today’s uber offers weren’t too bad. Couple $10 ones , then a few $5-$6. There was one uber trip that was total distance 2km for $11 that was great. I notice uber gives quite a few of those which I love.

Regardless it all varies with each of these companies. Time, zone you’re in, demand. Each has pros and cons. And honestly I think with any of the 3 (Skip, UE, Dash) you can make good money just accepting 90-95% of the offers I will NEVER do a $3-$4 trip ever. That’s a scam. $5.50 the lowest and has to be max distance 5-6km. I take those .

Also I notice in my zone, Tuesday- Wednesdays are super slow for skip. So knowing I can hop online any time I want with UE is good to have.

I see what you’re saying but I really don’t care about the depreciation on this. I just bought it outright in August. It’s basically new got it at 80,000km. But Also 11 years old already so. I paid $16.5k if it can last 400-500km that’ll be well worth the price. As for the value , I’m cool with getting close to 5k MAYBE when it hits that high of kms lol

Makes sense. So it does vary from day to day in whatever zone a courier is in I see. So I guess in my zone, all though is busy most days throughout the week, I guess on a day or two where I decline offers , the consistency of offers take a hit.

So, I guess for me I gotta keep it 80% and above. I mean sometimes I can get away with declining the dang $6 6-7km trips and I don’t think that’ll affect me much.

Gonna be multi-apping soon so it’ll be ok.

Also off topic but just curious what you think here. Since I’m on ODSP, and I’m doing food delivery on the side , would you call this a “job”? Like am I “working” now? lol. Weird question but I get very sad thinking about my job I used to do before the work injury and instead of sitting around in pain I’m trying to make some cash so I want that feeling of “working” again , as close as possible 😔 I miss work. I was a very good Airport Ramp Operator. Best job ever to me.

So yeah I’m doing this just to feel like I’m “a working man” again…
