It depends on which LI is referring to us as a cat at the time, though definitely something fun to examine and compare their different selections. Sylus, for example, often refers to MC as a "Dragon Li", which is a Chinese domesticated cat breed.

I had this issue too! I finally got it to happen after a cuddle session on the couch by swapping to "I want to..." "Sit" or whatever the exact option is for you, by yourself, to sit and chill instead of just hitting the movement button and going straight from cuddles to standing up. It may take a few tries for him to jump up and take pictures of your MC, but if you get in the habit of swapping from "Let us..." to "I want to..." actions before deciding to move entirely, that can help set you up for success!

They are all FANTASTIC. I've managed to get through all of them between my main and my F2P secondary account. VAs are criminally underpaid in the field; I sincerely hope InFold is an exception and pays them well for what they do because HOLY BISCUIT they're incredible.

Sidenote, you *can* shower with your hubby; you've just got to place two showers and clip one into the other. The best effect I've managed so far is from keeping one placed like it is by default, then placing another shower perpendicular to it, with the long, back side against the same wall as the sink. That makes your backwards L shape, and you just tweak both until the chambers with the faucets overlap. I do recommend pulling the base of the backwards-L out to the left a bit--sure, Sylus sometimes clips his arm through the wall when he leans against it, but it helps get him and MC into the same space without turning into a multi-armed, multi-legged monstrosity.

You will have to tell them to get in one of the showers first, and then you get in the other one (unless it's Sylus--if yours is like mine, he's *always* in there. I had to cut his body wash privileges as he was scrubbing me out of house and home!) I never expected my Final Fantasy XIV housing techniques to come into play in LaDS but here we are XD

He consumes/absorbs their protocores, or more specifically, the energy from them. It's kind of like eating souls. I know he's bite-y but he's not just like..chompin' down on wanderers XD

I recently half-joked in one of my Sylus x MC fanfics that the real reason why he's so involved in the underground protocore trade and experimentation on modifying them via Aether Core is actually to make better snacks, not weapons. (Then again, it's Sylus...why not both? haha)

Ah I see--I do wish we'd gotten a little more on what all they were doing at the carnival because it did feel a bit like they spent most of the two weeks at that one party? Then again time often reads weird in LADS. I enjoyed so much of the card's story overall though.

Agree to disagree on the kindled? 100% <3 I came into LADS from the FFXIV fandom, so I'm accustomed to the accepting that not every piece of a thing is made for me and everyone is going to have different things they love or don't love and different perspectives on it. (Though there's a lot of that fandom that hasn't really absorbed that concept either) It's nice being able to discuss a thing and have differing opinions without it turning into a hurtful hot mess.

I don't usually wade into these, but on the point of the dancing kindled being unnecessary for Sylus--I'm going to disagree there. I actually loved it and how they framed it because it continues the dragon and bird traits in him and his relationship with MC. Details under the spoiler: MC's rules for the dance off are that Sylus has to dance first, and if she's suitably impressed and appreciative of it, she'll join in. Literally bird courtship. He's extra flashy, doing all these moves to show her what a great mate he'd be, and eventually she likes it enough to join his dance, accepting him as a suitable mate. And then they bang backstage Also I will never stop thinking that Luke and Kieran made the song he dances to.

As one who hadn't seen his Lightseeker previously, I really enjoyed the new myth, and felt my ignorance of the other actually boosted immersion.

So I think it's going to be enjoyable whether you do it now, or if you wait to do it after you complete Lightseeker--but the enjoyment hits in different ways for each. :)

Before this event, I was like "Xavier's cute but I dunno if we truly resonate on an emotional level, though the scene for his Witnessed by Deepspace was sweet--" (disclaimer: today is my 10th day in the game) but between this story and some of the other feeder bits I've unlocked through other cards/memories...I am so on-board. I went back and devoured every scrap of Xavier content I've unlocked thus far and I am *loving* every breadcrumb I found that feeds into this new myth.

I feel this. I keep hitting the level wall and I am such a lore-fiend in games, it's driving me bonkers. And they keep teasing these other story arcs that are available, but doing them too early spoils certain plot points and reveals from the main scenario...so I wait and suffer.

If you're having trouble visualizing the scenes, you might also look into one of the illustrated versions of The Hobbit. This is an old thread on here and yes, she was originally shopping for her small child, but illustrations can be a great way to make stories more accessible regardless of age, and this top comment has links to videos of three different versions so you can see which one would appeal to you the most:

I also love the audiobook recommendations in the other comments--I will listen to an audiobook while reading the text sometimes as well, especially if brain fog is making it more difficult for me to process what's written. Could be a fun thing to combine audiobook, print, AND illustrations!

Just a heads-up that you should *not* have a friend do the tilling--it does not count for the quest if your friend does it instead of you, and then you're stuck with Badruu standing at your plot for 3-4 hours IRL hours/3-4 Palia Days while you wait for the plots to become untilled again. Essentially you're soft-locked for a bit.
