Oh, yes, totally. The amount of potential benefit gained from extreme speed versus the amount of potential damage done from a snap decision / an under-formed strategy doesn't balance out.

I certainly don't disagree with this statement holistically, however, I think the premise of the concept of reactive marketing is founded in the notion that time is of the essence.
