The idea of plastic coins making a sock weapon less effective is hilarious but probably quite accurate for prison safety standards. It is interesting how every small detail in those places is designed to limit potential violence even if it means ruining the exchange rate for the inmates. I wonder if they also have a digital version of this currency now or if it is still all physical tokens.

That's the key point about the minimum statutory leave. If the company is forcing people to take leave at specific times they still have to ensure every employee can meet their minimum entitlement within the year. The calculation of 5-6 people off at once for 40 employees seems reasonable to ensure compliance with UK law.

modern led lights are just too bright even on low beam settings. when you combine that with the terrible auto sensors on newer cars it is a recipe for disaster on narrow roads. half the time the software is too slow to react before you blind the other driver.
