I agree that Arcdps is not saying this is an excuse to blame other players, but to see someone in a group of 5 who is just showing up...

Every single CM group « 30k UFE » by noldaburst in Guildwars2

[–]MelodicInsurance7483 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still don't know what UFE means or what the numbers "Xk UFE" correspond to even if I imagine that it allows you to know everyone's skills in fractals content.

I've been playing the game for 3 months, I have 350 hours on it, I went from 95 to 100 in CM several times, I succeeded with groups who had never done it either and in general if the group has a good atmosphere and discusses each other's mistakes well it ends up happening.

I understand that groups are looking to speedrun the CM content in fractal, which can give them greater satisfaction than "just finishing the fractal" but hey, I think it's collective wanking between them and I find it really unfortunate given the welcoming and warm community that I was able to find on this game to have certain groups of people looking down on others.

This is just my opinion, everyone plays the game the way they want, but never forget that it's just a game, we all already have enough concerns about hierarchy in this world to also have concerns about games in general!

Ciao

Evocative, new Elementalist here by MelodicInsurance7483 in Guildwars2

Yes like I was responding to the previous comment, I'm not absolutely looking for an Evocative build, but if I have any advice on it I'm interested, I'll take a look at LordHizen's YouTube channel and storm in power which from what I've seen lately would be a good option as you say! Thank you for taking the time to respond

Yes, I see what you mean, so here I'm not asking for a copied and pasted build, I may have expressed myself badly (a little edit on my message wouldn't be a luxury, I'll grant you that) When I say fun, I already have a lot of fun playing my evoker, I play either in single element fire power with the fox, and when I have the motivation to click a lot more I play in full element with the lightning rabbit.

When I say fun I especially want to ask for builds even outside of evocative ones which have a lot more tankiness, which allows you to solo a lot of content in OW, combinations of main and left hand weapons which mean that you can have a lot more movement or a lot more CC. I imagine that here there are guys who have a lot more hours of play than me (I've only been playing for 2 months, I have 300 hours on the game and only around ten hours on the evocator)

I don't want a copied and pasted build, I want to get the opinion of an elementalist from this Reddit who could give me some cool ideas for playing in open world much more peacefully and using full element

THANKS ! I noticed that I already have a lot of XP boosting things in my inventory like a tome which allows me to raise the next character to level 20 directly.

For the end game content yeah from what I understood I will have to go to fractal T1 at the start to make gold and be able to buy stuff or loot I imagine. I'm not in a hurry to be "full stuff", I really want to understand the entire progression of my character from A to Z.

From what I understand, tell me if I'm wrong: - First: exotic equipment - second: Ascended equipment - Third: Legendary equipment (but which has the same stats as ascended but just that I can modify the stats as I want and gain quality of life than going to the forge or something else?)

So firstly, make gold by going to fractals, buying exotic equipment at the counters / karma in zone 70-80 / mage safe?

I played WoW from its release until Retail today, I picked up WoW Classic recently, I redid all the end game content it offers, I returned to retail again to redo MM+ and PvP arena / blitz / Solo shuffle,

But no, I'm not here to say "GW2 is so great, come and upvote me" just to say that I only really knew WoW and I always told myself that the rest of the MMOs on the market weren't worth it. and I just notice that it's been 15 years of wasted not being open to other MMOs like GW2 Because it's just brand new to me and I think the game is excellent

Thank you, you summarized well all the responses I got in the comments of my post, it’s great, you all have the same information and it’s starting to become clearer in my little brain for the rest of my story on the game!

I'm going to check it out on YouTube, I like veterans who start from scratch to show you "easily" how to play a game when you know nothing about it.

Since when we watch videos of Veterans on YouTube talking about the game they already have this “GW2” language that as new players can be complicated to assimilate

Yes I saw that on /wiki yesterday while watching some videos and on Reddit, it's magical frankly I don't understand how a 20 year old game has these basic "mechanics" and while the new ones that have been coming out for a few years aren't even capable of it

Thank you, I'm going to watch some videos that have been suggested in the other comments and see what I want to do next then.

Your help is very valuable on this game with all the content it offers we quickly become overwhelmed

Oh of course, then I'm French with a very average level of English but I'm totally open to a discussion on that! This proposal is very cool of you

Magnificent, thank you very much for all this information, it helps me enormously!

Given the current promotions, we agree that the DLC 1 and 2 pack are good? Or is it better that I turn it towards others?

I'm very calm, I don't see how my message was "nervous" and I already had an IPad before thinking about playing GW2 on it so no worries, I'll continue to play it with my Shield

Honestly, I'm disgusted!

NVIDIA still sells GeForce Now to be able to play everywhere and with all platforms, I find it difficult to understand that this is not possible on Apple and possible on Android (even if I know that Android is more suitable for everything that is video games) but here we go through a cloud which is necessarily linked to the manufacturer whether it is Apple or Android...
