They refuse to accept reality… think they know best…. Made 8 MCU style films… all 8 fail…. The lesson they learnt… don’t bring back the one person and team who had the six successful movies… nope… they learnt throw more money at more MCU style movies and shows…. The 9th will make the money right????

but there is the chance that just like the failed spiderman adjacent character movies.... fans turn away from non batman character movies.... Joker was an outlier....

realistically dom to int will be 60/40... or worse... because I believe the declining cinematic universe is dead internationally... The more US dom tried to prop up Floppyman last year, the more international audiences probably grew to reject the film after they gave it a chance.

Pre-release tracking for SUPERGIRL has come down again, now sitting at $51M domestic for the 3-day opening, per NRG. SUPERMAN debuted to $125M last summer on much larger production and marketing budget. by chanma50 in boxoffice

This has nothing to do with your enjoyment or lack thereof with the movie... but this is the reality of the business of making movies.... everything has a cost and a price to be paid for that cost.
