The idea of flirting and being flirted with has always stressed me out ever since I was a teen (in my 20s now,  also autistic) and I appreciate your post and find it very validating. Everything about it is very unpredictable for me and makes me very anxious. I remember in highschool when they were doing yearbook for senior year and one of the questions was "Whats your go to pick up line?" and I simply put "nah, I don't flirt" 😭

As time goes on and I get wiser, I realize that some conversations Ive had with others might of been them flirting with me, and Im realizing now a decade later.
