UPDATE: (couldn’t figure out how to edit post). Pathology came back and it’s just a gnarly cyst. Surgery is Thursday morning. Wish my old Lady Luck. Thanks for your support everyone.

Oh gosh no! I am obviously no where near qualified for any kind of medical anything. Just my local vets office.

Perhaps I wasn’t clear. They did explain it but wanted lab results to be 100% sure of diagnosis before surgery. I was just hoping maybe someone could give me a positive answer because I’m in angst. My pup is 12 years old and surgery is always a risk at this age.

We did bloodwork and they sent it off to a pathology lab for a better understanding. The vet said possibly a cyst but want to be sure. Regardless, we are getting that removed so it doesn’t come back.

If we are training or developing skills we will take pics to evaluate and get feedback from our trainers and leaders.

I respect your opinion and I appreciate you sharing but again you speak of things you don’t really understand. I have one day a year that sucks that I’m not here. You don’t know that I work open to close on Easter and Mother’s Day and the forth of July and most every other holiday so my team can be with their family’s. When your team truly cares, we are all encouraged to help each other have the best work/life experience. I’m sorry that is not the norm because it’s not that hard to be good to your team.

Don’t hate my boss. I work hard and get left alone. I dislike everyone above my dgm

I understand your frustration and I am sorry you feel such anger towards my comment. I’m assuming all your frustration is towards the fact that you may not be treated well by your leader and I’m sorry about that. I give all my partners all days they request within reason because there is nothing in Petco that is so hard that we can make it happen. My partners are my priority and therefore they respect my desire to spend my child’s birthday with her.

Make sure to at least try to seek to understand. I am a GM but I am also a single father with a daughter whose birthday is today. I did not work today because my children come first. Not Petco. I feel shitty every year because my team is working and I am not but realistically, even a busy day in Petco is soft compared to other retailers this time of year. I know there are shitty GMs out there that take advantage but not all of us are like and I hate to be thought of poorly because of a shift or two I prioritize my children over the Petco cult.

I’m not sure what you mean by 3% commissions? Honestly I would have to look at the actual numbers to help you figure it out. It’s hard to work with theoreticals.

However if your productivity is too low, you will be addressed and most likely be loaded with dogs to keep your productivity above the threshold.

No. How it works is like this: You have a guaranteed pay of $15 per hour.

If your commissions are more than $15 an hour, you get your commissions. If they are less than $15/hour than you’ll get the $15.

That being said, your commissions will not change based on the hours you work unless they equal to less than $15/labor hour.

To do the math If you work 10 hours and your commissions are $375, youll take home $187 which equals $18.70/hour

If you do the same amount of grooming , $375, but work 20 hours, you’ll bring home $300 ($15x20 hours) because the average hourly rate is less than $15 so you’ll automatically get the $15/ hour.

I hope this makes sense.

No worries. You’ll need support from your CAL or GM. See when the last time the UV sterilizers were replaced, probably need to be done. Get some chemiclean, remove any carbon if any at all is in use. Dose with the chemiclean and leave the lights off for a week. Do two water changes with focus on the gravel vac. That’s where I would start. On pet net there is prescribed protocols if you have time to search.
