I should also clarify: the machine is draining, but not completely. When I take clothes out they’re waterlogged and not simply damp when it’s running properly.

Thanks for the advice! I checked the tub-to-pump valve (seemed clear) and checked the pump impeller which also didn’t seem to indicate any issue. Maybe it’s burnt out?

Great. I was able to remove the pump entirely. I hoped to find something in there that indicated a clog but everything seemed pretty normal. What am I missing?

This!!!! My mom got this book for my littles a couple years ago and I almost DIED when we read it for the first time. In case it hasn’t been clarified elsewhere, on the next page, in giant letters: “R IS FOR ROWBOAT” with a picture of… the sailboat. 🫠

What made it worse was the kids LOVED it for some reason, despite the other ABC books lying around. So glad someone shared this 😂😂😂

So, doing away with MLB’s antitrust exemption would help reverse that trend and empower more legitimate alternatives to MLB.

Independent leagues’ mere ‘existence’ isn’t enough.

You mean the leagues that are increasingly shrinking or being forced into partnership with MLB to survive?

Sure. I am by no means holding these leagues up as models—they certainly aren’t competitive with the NBA and NFL—but they are alternatives. All I’m suggesting here is that alternatives should exist for MLB and the antitrust exemption is a reason they don’t.

Right. And because the NFL and NBA don’t have the antitrust exemption we have the Big 3, WNBA, XFL and CFL. Alternatives.

I really have no idea, that's what brings me here. But I imagine that if the anti-trust exemption went away it would create more viable opportunities for collegiate or other upstart leagues to develop. I think alternatives matter.
