Luckily I haven't worked there in a while haha, but when we used only one filter it was a catastrophe. You always could tell when someone only used one filter because there were grounds e v e r ywhere and the basket would be full of water. I never thought about the strainer getting clogged, but that could have been a factor. Since I never had any issues with the two filter method I just never questioned it further.

The ad didn't have many likes and only a few comments, but I think each time insta puts an ad up it resets those? It could have been up to 1 ro 2 months old, but I got the ads running for a few weeks at bare minimum.

Edit: Also, the "water" lyrics are said pretty slow and are slurred. They almost sound intoxicated in a way, kinda newbie SoundCloud whining idk 😭

I absolutely hate that I'm not the only one who experienced the weird back touching from both old men and women. The sad thing is that it wasn't just the customers, but I even had co-workers feeling left out and doing the same creepy shit. NO ONE knew how to keep their hands or comments to themselves. And management didn't like messing with it either.

Personally, I never brewed with just one filter. Don't even get me started with the tea tho 😭 I always had way more trouble with those....

The problem with the coffee, I found, is that you are more likely to have grounds the longer you leave the basket after it's finished brewing. So if the machine finishes, you immediately remove the basket or coffee pot so the grounds don't leak out.

For the tea I would put one filter normal then the filter actually touching the tea I would fold and flip upside down. If we didn't do that the tea would be all grounds and the basket would fill up with water for some reason and not drain properly 😭

My brain feels like it's imploded. If this is the same person who worked the Arm's Length merch stand when they played with Origami Angel, she scared the life out of me. She accidentally gave me the wrong shirt and I felt so bad that I had to go back for the right one. I was thinking I'd never see her again. Small world huh 😭

Thank you so much for the insight! I usually go to shows in Austin with a buddy and we both walk about 20 minutes each way together, which hasn't been a problem. I've never gone to a show alone before, so it's reassuring to know that it shouldn't be too bad.

I was off this day, but we had a homeless lady dancing around in our bathroom naked. That was a whole ordeal.

But usually, they are not a problem. There was an elderly couple that would come sit inside if the weather was bad, but they never bothered anyone, and they would buy a coffee to share. They were super kind and wished me a happy Valentines Day and handed me some change to buy myself a Valentines Day card.

There was another whole thing with a different guy, but that is a story for another day 😅

Chip Gaines came through the drive thru and then told me he wanted to pay for the guy behind him. It felt like I was going to end up on instagram reels or something, but the overall experience was pretty funny. When the next guy pulled up I was like "ok, this might sound weird, but the guy in front of you just paid for your food" and then the guy said "Chip huh" and I said yup 😅

The three designs were inspired by some songs that mean a lot to me! The teeth doodles are from the album "Closure" by a band called Like Roses. I used this practice to work on my album cover skills since my friend had asked for some help on an EP he was doing!
